Why Him ?

"Alice, where are you?" Darren shouted "In here" I yelled back "come on we need to meet the guys" Jesus my brother can be a pain sometimes "ok, ok I am a girl remember, now come here please?" I shout, he walks into my bedroom "Darren, look at me I'm a mess and wheres my phone?" God I am so pissed off "right here, now calm down I know its Monday but come on its not my fault"

I walk over and give him a hug and stand on my tip toes to kiss him on the cheek. He wonders why I where high heels, I went over to try and do my hair and gave up and just left it down.

I grabbed my bag and ran down the stairs and out of the front door, Darren would have something for me to eat on the way in the car.

We got to school we grabbed our bags and jumped out of the car, I walked and waited for Darren. He came and got hold of my arm and we walked to our group of friends. There were the couple of girls, my closest friends, and most of Darren's friends who we hang about with. The boys, they don't mind me being with them all the time and I think it is mainly, because of my love of high skirts and very low tops, we walked over I said hi to the boys and then walked over to the girls and we all started to talk about what we had done over the weekend.

All of the girls have class together so I said by to Darren and the boys and walked off to class with them and I knew the questions were coming because I know they saw the look Alex gave me. Two minutes later, the questions started all at once "OMG, did you see that look" and "God he so likes you" and "You should really tell him how you feel". Oh yeah I'm going to tell him that after the last time. When I went out with Jasper for a while and Darren neally killed him. I dont think I want to go throught that again I look at all of them as we sat down.

As much as I do think that Alex is completeley glorious and I would love for us to go out there is no way I want to go through that again.

Anyway first class is music, my favourite lesson, only thing is I sit with Alex and he always needs help.

I was sitting in class, listening to the teacher and then the door opened ALEX, he's alway late, he will have been with his girlfriend for this week making-out. As much as it kills me, to know I still help him cover saying hes gone to the toilet because he feels sick or hes got to go and see another teacher. He walked over and sat next to me, "Alice, what did you tell her?" I turned and said "I said you felt sick and were in the bathroom" he just nodded and said "thanks, for covering again" I nodded and turned my attention back to the teacher.

"Right, get on chosing your piece for your exam" I turned round and got my sheet out off my bag that I knew we were doing today and started to practice it, until Alex taped me on the sholder "Alice!" I looked at him and got another piece of paper out of my bag and handed it to him "Do that" he just looked and nodded "Thanks" he said "It's ok". God he can't do anything for himself apart for drive people up the wall.

I got to the end of class and I walked out of the room until, someone grabbed my hand and pulled me so I would turn round, I did and I found it was Alex that had hold of my hand, "What?" I say, I need to go find the girls. "Alice, will you meet me at my locker at lunch time please?"

"Yes, now can you let go of my hand?" I say "Yeah, see you in a hour" he said walking off, I walked to my locker and all the girls came running over "where have you been?" Nic asked "Alex, wanted to talk to me, oh and I will not be there at lunch time ok?" then Ben came forward and hugged me "Hey" he said "Hey, where were you this morning" I say kissing him on the cheek.

Ben is my best friend and he's also Gay, and he knows me better than anybody else, "Ben, can I talk to you" I say "oh and Girls I'll see you guys later" I say dragging Ben by the hand outside.

Once we were outside we sat on his car hood "ok, so what did Alex really say to you, I know you were lying to the girls" I laughed he knows me so well, 10 minutes later and I had told him the whole story "Alice, what am I going to do with you?" I smiled and giggled a little "Love me, like me, and never leave me" I said smiling he laughed and pulled me into him for a hug "Alice, I do love you, and all that but i know that Alex is gorgeous but you really need to get over him" I looked up at him "I know, but you know" he laughed and said "yes, I know, but you do too. How about tonight we go see a movie then grab a bite to eat?" I smiled "Sure" I said then the bell rang.
