Why Him ?

The next morning

When I woke up it was around 3am, Jazz was wrapped up around me. I managed to get out of his wrapped arms and I headed to the toilet, after I went to the toilet I headed back through our room to the passage and I headed into the kitchen to find something to drink. I grabbed a glass and filled it with water, I was standing at the sink looking out of the window when I felt someone come into the room. I turned to look and I saw Pam standing in the doorway. "Are you ok sweetie?" she asked I smiled at her "lot of things on my mind" I replied. She nodded "You wanna talk about it?" she asked, I smiled and nodded.

"What's happened?" she asked, I put my elbows on the bar and sat down opposite her, "Alex kissed me" I just said it, I looked down at the bar, waiting for the yelling or shouting to come from her telling me how disappointed she is. It never came. I looked up to see her looking at me with her hand reached out on the bar. I took her hand in mine and looked at her in the eye. "When did this happen?" she asked squeezing my hand, "A couple of days before me and Jasper got back together", she nodded her head "then what's wrong hunny?", my eyes filled with tears as I looked at her, "I don't know mom, he said he loves me and I do care about him, but I love Jazz, I want to be with him. I love him" she squeezed my hand again and smiled at me "Alex is a player sweetie, stay away from him, he doesn't care about you enough like that, Jazz loves you, he cares about you and he will look after you no matter what happens. It's your choice, but think hard before you choose" she answered. "I love Jazz, he's my life, I missed him these last few weeks" she nodded at me again and smiled. "Jazz is good for you, your face lights up when he comes in the room, stay with him honey and he will make you a happy girl" I nodded and she wiped the tears from my eyes and kissed the top of my head, "go back to bed, get some rest, I'll see you in the morning" I nodded and hugged her "thank you mom, I love you" I said as I walked to the door, "I love you too sweetie" I smiled at her and headed back to my bedroom.

I saw Jazz looking for me while he was sleeping, he mumbled my name and was feeling around the bed for me. "shh shh shh i'm here baby shh" I said as I crawled back into bed next to him. He wrapped his arm around my back and pulled me to him, I kissed his lips softly and smiled as his eyes fluttered open. "Hey" I whispered, he smiled "hey" he said as he moved to make himself more comfortable. "I dreamt you left me, where were you?" he asked "I went for a drink and Pam woke up and was talking to me, I'm not going to leave you baby" he smiled as I said that and snuggled into me kissing my neck. "I love you" I said as I looked him in the eye, "I love you too baby" he said looking at me "What's wrong?" he asked and I shook my head "I'm fine Jazzy, go back to sleep, I'm not going anywhere" he smiled and turned onto his back, I kissed his chest and lay my head above his heart, we lay in silence him running a hand through my hair, me kissing his chest, it was perfect. We both soon fell back into peaceful sleep.

Once I woke up Jazz was lying beneath me stroking my hair, I smiled and kissed his chest "morning beautiful" he said as I turned my head to look at him, "morning handsome" I replied kissing his lips. "How did you sleep baby?" he asked "I slept better with you here" I smiled and pecked his lips again, "any more dreams babe?" I asked looking up at him "only of us together" he replied smiling at me, I grinned and moved off of him to lie next to him. We lay talking for a while, before we got up. I got up and slipped on some shorts and a vest while Jazz put some joggers on. We walked out of our room together holding hands and hugging as we walked through the passage to the living room, I saw Darren and Nic sitting on one couch, Alex on another and Ben next to Pam, Jazz sat on the chair and pulled me down on top of him. I snuggled up against him and moved my head into the crook of his neck as everyone was talking. Jazz and me sat talking to each other quietly as everyone was talking, Pam made food and brought it through for us all, I grabbed some food for me and Jazz and sat back down on Jazz' knee feeding him some toast. We joined in the convocation with everyone else as we ate, cuddling together once we finished, we sat hugging with my head in his neck.
