Chapter 8 ~ Meet Tawny

I walked down the hall after my classes with Prue. The other where too busy hanging out with Hermoine and her other friends. By others, I mean Ron and Harry. I hate Ron. He is too judgmental. Not all of us are the same, but I guess I could talk to Harry. Maybe, he won't be as bad. 

"Hey, Y/n. Do you think that we should embrace the fact that we'er Slytherin?" Prue asked.

"What do you mean by that?" 

"Oh you know. Be what people think we are. There is no use being ourselves if no one is going to except us for who we are," Pure stated.

I glared at her. She can't be serious about this.

"No. I don't care what people think about me, but I do care about who I am," I snapped.

She rolled her eyes and turned away.

"Find, be the misfit without friends."

I was lost for words as she walked away. I stood there alone. I sighed and walked off. It wasn't long until I bumped into Mink and Parker. 

"Hey Y/n," Parker smiled. 

"Hi," I force a smile.

"Whats wrong?" Mink asked.

"Nothing."

Parker and MInk sighed and put on a smiled. 

"Hey lets go outside for some fresh air. It's quiet stuffy," Mink offered. 

"Yea..sure," I mumbled. 

We walked outside and I saw Draco and his posse with...Prue? I thought she hated them, but I guess she is changing like she wants too. I looked at Parker to see him glaring at her at the boys. Why was he mad? 

"Parker? You ok?" I asked. 

Parker growled and walked to there direction.  

Parker's POV

I walked straight towards them. I don't know what was gotten into her. 

"Prue! What are you doing?" I asked.

She just rolled her eyes and placed her eyes on her hips. 

"Listen, boy, I can do what ever I want. You can't control me." 

I snapped, "Prue! Your my s-"

"You heard her, now go," Draco snapped.

I turn to him and glared. Using my family's power I tighten his tie and walked away. 

Prue's POV

I saw Draco wheeze and try to loosen his tie...Parker. He should know better than to do that. Once Draco fixed his tie, his friends asked if he was ok. I sighed and looked back to my old friends. I saw Y/n hug Parker and Mink rub his back. Y/n gave me a sorrowful look with disappointment.  Once Y/n pulled away and Mink pulled back Parker looked back at me, and I saw tears threatening to fall. He sighed and turned away and walked off with the two girl following. 

"What's wrong with you?" Draco asked.

"Nothing," I glared where my brother once stood. "Just thinking."

"About?" Draco asked.

"Why I was ever friends with them."

Draco smirked and placed his hand on my shoulder. 

"They are nothing more than low lives."

With that Draco walked off with his Posse. I soon followed them. It was a silent walk until Draco spoke.

"So what blood type are you and L/N?"

Before I could answer a girl spoke up. 

"What is Y/n's Blood Type to you?" she asked.

"Stay out of this Tanya," Draco snapped. "It is none of your concern."

She rolled her eyes and left. 

"She is a 'muggle born' or that is she said on the train," I answered. 

Draco stopped and turned. 

"And you?"

"Both of my parents were magical," I answered his question again.

Draco and continued. 

"So she is a mudblood. I have a tip, put them in their place," Draco spoke.

I sighed and continued with them. 

Y/n's POV

Parker was upset, but then again how wouldn't. She just turned around and left us. We sat in the on a bench while Parker stared blankly at the wall. Mink laid her head on his should and I just sat their. It wasn't long until a girl with dirty blonde hair that was slightly curled and light blue eyes skipped towards us with a smile. She was a Hufflepuff like Parker. She stopped in front of us and her smile fell. 

"Parker you ok?" she asked.

Parker looked up and once he saw her shock flashed in his eyes, then he stood up, smiled, and hugged her. 

"I'm fine Tawny. Just family problems," Parker whispered. 

"How are they?" Tawny asked.

Parker pulled back and turn towards us. 

"This is Mink and Y/n," Parker introduced us. "These's are two of the girls I told you about."

"Oh yea! Hey guys. My name is Tawny Rogers," She smiled.

"Nice to meet you," Mink smiled and stood up. 

I only nodded with a small smile. Tawny held out her hand. I took it and she pulled me up. 

"We won't just survive. They will see us thrive. They can't write our story. We are beyond the there standards," Tawny smiled. 

Parker, Mink, and I smiled at her word. 

"Ye of little faith. Don't doubt it. Victory is in our veins. I know it," Tawny continued. 

I smiled. Meeting Tawny was like meet a angle. She was sweet and smart. 

"We must stay conscious through the chaos and madness," Parker smiled. 

"This will be our motto," Tawny spoke. 

"Agreed," Mink smiled. 

I nodded. Tawny put her hand out. Parker put his hand on hers. Mink put her hand in. Then I did too. 

"Team thrive?" Tawny asked.

"Team thrive," we all agreed.
