Chapter 31

Y/n's POV

Ty, Aliza, Tawny, Michelle, and I figured it best to leave until Ron ran after his rat. Harry and Hermione ran after him. The five of us thought it would be best if we stayed out today the way. Going back to the school we went to the great hall for dinner. Michelle, Prue, and I took our spot next to Malfoy and his group.

Pansy was already sitting next to Draco which didn't bother me in the slightest. I wasn't in any mood to talk anyways. When we were heading to our dorms, I took Michelle's arm and took her with me. Harry and Granger have been on my mind all night. Did they save the red heads rat or what?

Michelle pulled me behind a pillar and the next thing I knew I was dangling in the air, sort of. Michelle had somehow attached her hands and feet to the roof. My body was laying on top of hers. This was more than a little awkward for me. I looked down to see Snape looking around the pillars.

It wasn't long until he himself hid behind one. Lupin walked by in a hastily. Michelle gave a low hissing noise. Snape quickly followed him. Michelle dropped down and caught me and set me down.

"Thanks," I mutter.

"No problem."

We both went after the teachers out of as curiosities filled me. They disappeared in the willow tree, so we decided it stay outside of it and wait for them to return.

"Y/n, we shouldn't be out here... We should head back inside."

"Yeah. Come on," I replied.

She was right. It wasn't safe around here at night. We both head back until we heard them come out of the willow tree. All but Snape came out. We hide behind a bush and watch as Ron and Hermione stayed at the base of the tree with Lupin as Harry walked off with someone else.

It wasn't long until Snape came out. Hermione pointes out the moon and the stranger tried to hold Lupin. I wasn't sure what was going on with him until I saw him turn into a werewolf. Michelle and I went to turn back until we were block with a smaller werewolf. I jumped from behind my bush and back away quickly.

That's when I saw Michelle hiss loudly and attack the creature. The both rolled into the open were werewolf Lupin and an animagus fought. The one Michelle was faced shoved her off and growled. That's went I saw blood around Michelle's mouth and fangs. Great.

Slytherin has a Merlin descendants, a vampire, and a Halliwell. Seems like the snakes are better than the lions now. When the werewolf threw Michelle into the trees something inside of me snapped and I lost control over my body.

Michelle's POV

I got up and glared at the werewolf until I saw a light from the right side of me. I wasn't the only one that noticed. Snape, Hermione, Ron, Harry, the wolves, and the animagus. Y/n had a grayish white aura around her. She had a staff in hand. Her eyes were white.

The werewolves attention went to her. I made my way to Snape and the Griffindors. Snape pulled me behind him to were I was next to Potter. Went I peeped over Snape's shoulder I saw both of brutes fly back with a wave of her staff. Hitting it on ground a shield went around us and herself.

When the werewolf's tried to get to her, the bounded back. Dropping her own shield she went to the smaller werewolf and placed her staff on its head. It was Mink. When she turned back to normal she was out cold. When Lupin went to attack Y/n, her staff was swung, only he broke it.

Our shield fell and Y/n's hand glowed brightly. With a flick of her wrist, Lupins body flew behind a few rocks. Y/n's body stopped glowing all together and she clasped next to Mink. Snape went over to her, only for Lupin to attempt to attack them. The animagus stopped him from hurting. Harry ran after them as Hermione help Ron up.

"Is she going to be okay?"

"I believe so, but I'm not sure what she didn't or how she did it," he muttered.

Time Skip

Y/n laid in the hospital wing with Ron sleeping a few beds away. Draco and Prue were the first ones to come in. Parker and Phoebe came in with the rest of the Thrive group. Well they didn't all come to check on Y/n automatically. Some went to check on Mink, who was still out cold.

I don't know what happened to Y/n that night, but that was a lot of powerful magic. Draco and Prue stayed behind with Y/n as a Ravenclaw that stayed by Mink. They rest of us went to our classes.

"Michelle, what happened last night?" Haley asked me.

"We noticed that you and Y/n parted and Y/n isn't here. We know something happened," Adrain continued.

"She somehow taped into something very powerful, only it wasn't her. I suggest you make sure she's on the right side and that means not no nose Voldemort side. Hogwarts is going to need her."

"She is living with the Malfoy's. You know it won't be easy," Adrain replied.

He was right. The death eaters are rallying and Ron's rat is going to bring him back somehow. Adrain and Haley looked over at me. They felt it to. The dark mark.
