Y/n cleaned the dishes with the house elves with small frown on her face. She like the house elves, but she hated cleaning dishes. On the bright side she wasn't doing the floors. Living in a big house and all. (The House Above =D ) Y/n started to hum a small tune that her mother sang to her when she was younger. One of the elves turned to her.
"What are you humming miss?"
Y/n turned and smiled.
"A tune my mum sang to be when I was little. We had some trouble with some people... So she always sang me to sleep."
They all turned to see how sad she really looked. They all knew what happened, but they knew understood why she was here. Why was a muggle born living with them? That is something that they might not find out.
"The Malfoy's are coming over and I want you all to be ready to sever. All but you Y/n. You are not to come out of your room," Alexander, Y/n's adoptive father, spoke harshly. "Oh and make sure Y/n gets her meals with anyone seeing you. Understood?"
The house elves only nodded.
"What if their son comes?" Y/n asked.
"If he dose then make sure he doesn't caught you or heard you."
Y/n only sighed and walked out and when to where her room was. At least it was a room and not a small storage area. There was things to do as well. such as playing guitar, posters to do art work with, books to read, notebooks to write in, and a violin. So it wasn't all that bad, but the fact is that Y/n earned her keep here by cleaning and doing as told.
Draco's POV
We arrived at the home of The Cutler family. I haven't really met them, but my parents had business to attend to and I was being dragged along. Once we arrived I noted on how much brighter it was than ours. I did like it. Maybe it would be so bad. Will be staying here for a week or so. My mum knocked and a house elf opened the door and welcomed us in.
"Ah Mister and Mrs. Malfoy. It is always a pleasure to see you," a man smiled.
His short brown hair waved to one side of his face. His dark brown eyes glanced at both of my parents. It wasn't long until he turned his gaze to me.
"This must be Draco?" he asked.
"Yes it is," mum replied with a smile.
"He has grown since last I saw him," he turn towards another room. "Maryam?"
A woman around my mothers age walked in. Long reddish brown haired and mint green eyes.
"Oh. Hello Mister and Mrs. Malfoy," once she saw me she smiled. "Draco I take it? I wish I could have a child but I can't do the accident."
Time Skip
I was walking around outside to take a look around the place. It wasn't until I looked up at the window's and saw something moving in one of them. It was to tall to be a elf. But I guess once the figure saw me they shut their curtains and moved back. Was that a person? Well only one way to find out.
Y/n's POV
NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! THIS IS NOT GOOD....IF HE SAW ME THEN I'M IN TROUBLE! Then a knock came to my door.
"Miss Y/n?"
It was just a house elf. I sighed and opened the door. He walked in and sat a tray of food down on my nightstand and left. Lunch. I ate and sat on my bed thinking about what to do. I miss my muggle friends. I was eight when I last saw them, but I don't think they missed me like I miss them. Why would they?
I grabbed my guitar and messed with the strings. Once I got it tunes out I started to play.
It wasn't until I heard someone clapping. I turned to see Draco clapping his hands and smirking. Shoot...
Draco's POV
I walked down the long halls, until I saw a house elf turning a corner. I hide behind a wall and watch him walk away. I check to see if it was clear. Once I noticed it was I continued to walk. Maybe it was a house elf...but it seemed to tall to be one. It wasn't until I heard a sound coming from one of the rooms ahead.I walked over to the door and leaned on it slightly to heard the sound. I opened the door quietly and closed it and who I saw shocked me.
It was Y/n. What was she doing here? Once she finish her song I smirked and clapped. Once she saw me anger, fear, and worry filled her eyes.
"Cat got your tongue Y/n?"
She only glared at me, but the fear slight remained in her eyes.
"What are you doing in my room and have you ever heard of knocking?"
I only laughed and walked over and sat by her. She moved away from me slightly and continued to glare at me.
"Why the glared?"
"You shouldn't be in here...Please just leave."
"Is that why your scared? Scared that we'll get caught?" I taunted.
"Draco if I get caught with you in here then.." Y/n just turned away. "Just leave and act like you never saw me."
Time Skip
I don't understand why she was so scared of me seeing her here. It's been three days and I want to know why.
