Chapter 14 - Showdown

Y/n POV

After Lockhart's class and the first message on the wall stuck in my head. Especially what Malfoy said. Prue told me not to worry about it, but I couldn't help it. Were us muggle born next? I had less sleep ever since that night. Mink, Parker, Ty, Aliza, Tawny, and Prue noticed this. No matter how much I told them I was ok, they never believed me. I even got detention for sleeping in Lockharts class tonight.

Geez, sorry if I didn't want to hear about you and your family, or your fame for that matter. I'm not like the other girls. Prue decided to join me tonight too, so I guess it won't be so bad. I sighed and walked in with Prue by my side.

"Ah L/n you made it, and what brings you here miss Hankins?"

"I was just going to stay were until Y/n is do here," Prue answered.

Time Skip

Prue and I walked to dinner. I sighed about to sit at the end of the table, but she drug me to where she sits. With Draco and his friends. Draco's friends groaned while he just glared at us.

"Why is she here again?" Draco asked. "She'll be the petrified too. Or worse. She might just be the next one to die."

I tensed up. Prue punched his arm and sat me by her. I didn't feel hungry anymore. Some Slytherins moved a bit away from me. I stood up and stormed out without a word. That's when I heard a strange voice, like it was in the walls. I froze and listened, but I couldn't make it out completely. Something along the lines or kill...

"Y/n!"

I jumped hearing the voice. I turned and saw it was just Ty and Parker.

"You scared me," I whispered.

"What's wrong Y/n? You know you can talk to us," Ty smiled. "Team Thrive is here for you."

"And we'll always be," Parker smiled.

I smiled and hugged them both. Second's later I felt their embrace making me feel some what safer.

"Thank's you guys."

The very next Day

I sighed and sat in the courtyard with Parker and Ty by my side. Hermione and Ron were with us too. Well Ron didn't like the idea of me with them, but Parker told him my blood was the same as Hermione. That's when Ron found out I was a muggleborn. Parker talked to Hermione while Ty talked to Ron.

Ron said something and he, Hermione, Parker, and Ty stood up. I looked up to see Gryffindor and Slytherin...well umm. Whatever it is, stood and seemed to be arguing about something. Once we got over their Draco appeared from the crowd. This won't be good.

"Malfoy?" Harry questioned.

I sighed, oh great. Here we go, a Malfoy and Potter showdown. I don't think it'll be the last one this year. I was to busy in my own thoughts I final noticed the Slytherin had the new brooms. Nimbus 2001, I think.

Ron was awed by it and asked how they got them. That's when one of the Slytherins spoke up.

"A gift from Draco's father."

That's when Hermione made a comment that was really needed.

"Well at least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in, they had a natural born talent."

Draco took one step towards her. Oh no...

"No one asked for your opinion, you filthy little mudblood," Draco snapped.

She looked hurt and I was not going to stand for him insulting my friend. And it seemed Parker wasn't either.

"And I don't believe these guys need you on their team Malfoy, your nothing more than a whinny little boy who goes to his daddy. Oh and let  me guess, 'my fathers going to here about this'? Well you can tell him this too!"

That's when Parker hit him flat on his bum. One of the guys where helping Draco up as one came towards Parker only to stop and trip. I looked down to see his laces tied.

"Don't not ever use that term to my friends in MY presence or I'll do far worse," Parker threatened as Draco stood holding his bloody nose. "And that goes to all of you!"

Parker took Hermione away with Harry and Ron following after him. Ty sighed and ran after them, me I stood their.

"What?!" They asked.

"Nothing, just lost in thought. Good luck," I muttered and walked away.

Time Skip - A Few Days Later
(Sorry if I'm not getting this in order..)

I yawned walked with Tawny and Ty because Prue was continuing to yell at Draco for what happened a few days ago. Parker, Mink, and Aliza soon joined us.

"Hey, why are we here?" Mink asked.

We all just shrugged. When Lockhart came up, I blocked him out and started to doze,until I felt something hit my face. I opened my eyes to see what hit my face to see it was Lockhart's jacket...I tossed to Mink and she threw it at some other girls. I sighed and lend on the person by me, which was Ty.

I felt Ty tap me wake which made me groan.

"What?"  I asked.

"Well just so you know this is kinda like a dueling class and Harry and Draco are about to duel," Ty answered. "Who do you think is going to win?"

I shrugged and stood up, deciding to watch them duel. Before Lockhart said three Draco threw a spell at Harry causing him the land on his side. Harry then threw a spell the send Draco on his bum. I snicker quietly with Prue. Snape shoved him up and that's when Draco shot a snake from his wand.
