I wasn't able to sleep properly last night, I kept twisting and turning on my bed, my mind is filled with arguments and the memories that had happened. No wonder I looked like crap when I woke up this morning.

"For someone who did nothing last night you sure look terrible." René says as soon as I reached my table.

"I haven't got much of sleep." I said as I open my computer to let it warm up.

"Why?" René seems to be curios about what happened to me last night.

"Nothing much." I try to brush off her inquiry. Not that I don't want tell René, I am not really in the mood to answer questions plus I just do not want to explain my self when I tell her about Ethan having dinner at my house last night. Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with last nights company, I just happen to not like the thoughts I had afterwards and that is something I cannot explain. I know that René will want to know more and I am not ready to tell anything that I myself do not know.

"You're hiding something." She said her eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"What?! No! What could I possibly hide?" I gave and awkward laugh.

"Now your acting strange." if possible, she narrowed her eyes more.

"No I'm not!" I defended myself.

She holds my gaze for a moment, when she probably saw that I won't spill my beans she gave up with a huff, "Fine." obviously not convinced.

I sighed. Just like any other day, I had work loads to finish and it is a good way to take my mind off certain things or a certain person to be exact. I have seen Ethan a few times during the day, but he is obviously too busy so I didn't bother walking up to him to say hi.

I was working on my table when I hear someone calls my name."Hey Leah!" Tom greeted as he walks towards me.

"hey?" I replied, slightly questioning his chirpy demeanor. knowing Tom he is planning something again.

"So..... " He started.

"What?" I said.

"you know..we haven't hung out for a while." he stated.

"So?" I replied looking at the figures on my laptop.

"What do you mean so?" He complained like a five year old.

Tom is a flirt.

'Straight forward much?' Shut it brain i'm trying to introduce a new character here. Plus i'm just telling the truth. Anyway...going back to my introduction.

Tom is a flirt. (Wait..wait for it there's more..)

...but he is a good friend. See I am not that bad *smirking

When I started in this company he is one of the first people I got along with. He is very easy going, even the most hectic day in the office can be light once he started to open his mouth. Most of the time he makes a fool out himself, but he is really good at his job.

He's been a quota buster for the last 2 years, ever since he was able to get his momentum in selling and learned how to use his charm to sell products, and trust me, selling our products is not easy. The competition is increasing yearly and the prices of the products we are selling isn't always reasonable. Being a sales person requires creativeness, patience and perseverance.

I chuckled, "we just ate lunch together yesterday." I pointed out.

He rolled his eyes, "You know what I mean, we didn't get to bond alone for weeks!"
