you weren't like the other and you never were, dressed in something otherworldly, wearing your skin magnificently and with pure grace. we were an awkward bunch, early drug addictions and alcohol poisoning and dancing until our feet were stumps but we didn't care, we never cared, not even when our numbers dropped and our grades were failing and we just lived life so hard and so much that life got so sick of us, it was so worn and overused. as adults, we were just bored, no fun, no games, no late nights partying and getting drunk or anything that we used to because our livers were tired and our kidneys were shot and we were oh so ill and the world couldn't take us.
