it was scary, in a way, being more dependent on a person than they were you. they could leave and break and leave you just as broken and it was honestly a sin for them to remain, keeping you as some glorified pet. under-appreciated and unkept. these waters aren't simply flowing downstream, they lead to something much greater, much bigger, because we're dependent but we're strong, the oceans need rivers to be fed but one measly one won't be missed. we don't need you, or your drunken loves and half attempts at friends. we should mean everything to you, but you are blinded by your own petty whims and you must face those consequences.
