inhale and exhale this briny and salty air with this clogging and rusting sea, fill your lungs with lines of nonsensical verses and useless words. fill your eyes with drops of coal dust and glitter, your eye makeup will smear in the left corner of your right eye and your mascara may run just the slightest bit, the whites of your eyes turning red and your pretty brown iris getting lost in your dilated pupil. your nose will run and bleed out these seaweeds and water, your mouth with bubble up in truths and whims and the occasional odd fish that got lost in the ocean of your torso. your heart pumps bits of broken glass along the sandy bottom of your veins. your lungs make the waves and the currents, you are running dry. your rib cage act as a sort of reef, and it protects the island of your insides from harsh hurricanes of spoken horrors and daily negativities. your arms support the weight of a thousand earths. your fingers grip at their algaeic hair and gently brush through their messy tears. your legs traveled this world and all the others without any help from anyone else. your feet bore the weight of your troubles with no complaints. you are the sea and the ocean and the force that creates us all. stay humble, dear one, for you could capture the moon.
