Hoseok reaches down to pick up one of the balloons and hands it over to Jungkook. The balloon reads "Because you're strong for everyone you care about."
Jungkooks confused. It must show on his face because Hoseok explains a bit more.
"There reasons I love you. I don't want you to think I'm not serious about this. I don't want you to think this is some sort of joke. I want you to know its real."
Jungkook has to bite his lip to hold back tears because never in his life did he think he end up on a roof surround with all the reasons he is loved.
In a very shy manner the two go around picking up the balloons. Each time Jungkook has to wipe his eyes with the sleeves of his hoodie and each time Hoseok has to read the writing on the balloon.
There's a total of 20 balloons and Jungkook for the rest of his life is able to to recite what each said exactly. He knows that the 8th balloon told him "Because you kept fighting when you knew you could give up."
He knows the 15th ballon said "Because you didn't once look at me like I was pathetic". He knows every single one and sometimes, when Hoseoks not around he says them out loud to the empty air just so he can pretend that Hoseok is there.
