Hoseok would like to say that being with Jungkook completely changed his life. But it didn't. Their dynamic stayed mostly the same. Part of this is because they were fairly open about how they felt about each other before Hoseok bluntly told Jungkook he loved him.
Even before they got together Jungkook made Hoseok happy and vice versa. That's what really mattered to Hoseok was that both of them were happy, that's really what had always mattered to him.

No it was never perfect between them. There was fights, there was mistakes and accidents.
But both of them could both say with ease that if the other left them they wouldn't ever be able to let them go completely.
