-Annabelle's POV-

"Art, you ready" I scream from the livingroom of my apartment. Artemi insisted on get ready at my place and he was taking longer than me.

"Sorry not all of us look like we walked off the cover of Vogue every second of the day. I'm almost done" he yells back.

"Sassy" I mutter and return to my phone.

Lindsey, Amanda, and I decided to go on a triple date, we decided bowling and pizza sounded like fun but we were running late. I actually really enjoyed Lindsey despite first thoughts, I like that she's protective. Means she cares.

"Okay I'm ready" he yells coming out of the bathroom. He was wearing dark jeans and a baby blue v neck t-shirt, unfortunately that was what I was wearing also.

"I don't know what's worse, that we're that couple or that you wore it better" he laughs grabbing his things and heading to the door.

"I don't know. I think we look cute" I say pinching his cheek as he playfully smacks my hand away. We get to the bowling alley and rent shoes then find our balls. I get my strike ball and spare ball and place them on the lane while Artemi worked on his shoes. After everyone gets here we have to somehow break into two teams so I go on a team with Lindsey and Jon and Artemi goes on the team with Patrick and Amanda.

"Who's ball is this" Lindsey asks pointing to a dark blue ball.

"Mine" I say happily raising my hand.

"That's a 16 pound ball" she assures and I nod.

"I know" I smirk and Artemi raises his eyebrow at me.

"Okay, lets get this started" Jonny cheers as he steps up to bowl

. I sit and talk with Lindsey until it's my turn and I easily pick up my strike ball. I place myself with one foot on the 3rd dot and the other in the fourth. I step with my left first, then the right, then the left again before releasing my ball with spin and knocking over all the pins. I gracefully turn around and stop when I notice everyone's mouths open.

"What" I laugh sitting back in my chair and spinning around.

"How did you do that" Patrick asks pointing to the lanes.

"Well you see Patrick, I took the ball, and I rolled it down the lane" I say causing Amanda to laugh.

"Okay smart ass, I got that. How are you so good though" he reiterates.

"I don't know, I excelled in most things I did as a little girl, which includes bowling I guess" I shrug.

"Well I want you on our team, Breadman over here sucks" he announces.

"No way bud, she's ours" Jonny announces before going to bowl.

"Captains orders" I say and continue to talk to Lindsey.

The first game ends and I bowled a 216 and Patrick was in second with a measly 145.

"Okay new teams and I call Anna" Patrick demands.

"I would like to be on a team with my boyfriend, if that's okay with you guys" I say wrapping my arms around Artemi. I missed his scent. He puts a arm around me and kisses the top of my head causing me to smile.

"Fine... only because you guys are cute" Patrick says in defeat. Jon and Lindsey ended up getting split and Lindsey was on my team. We talk about our favorite things in Chicago and the best places to eat. She asks me about writing and she was being super nice. I think we were going to be good friends. The whole game Artemi never left me side, whether he was holding my hand or pulled me into his lap or had his hand on the small of my back. I didn't mind any, his touch was smoothing yet made me feel so giddy at the same time. We finish up the second game and I did a little better, Patrick was still upset he lost so I promised to buy him a beer.

We order a huge pizza from the bowling alley and decide to split it. "So, how's your new book coming along" Amanda asks sipping on her water.

"Eh, its started" I shrug and lean against Artemi.

"I think it's amazing" Artemi comments smiling down at me.

"Thank you" I smile back until I get lost in his eyes.

"They're so adorable it makes me sick" Lindsey laughs. We eat lunch and tried out best not to get kicked out. We listened to Patrick and Jonny bicker then Patrick and Artemi bicker. Us girls just let them fight over who could grow the best playoff beard and talked amongst ourselves until we decide it was time to go. I'm used to being the youngest out of my group of people but I really enjoyed their company. It's was nice to get away from hockey for a few hours and just hang out as friends.

"Okay guys, we're going to have to do this again, but lets find something Anna isn't unfairly good at" Patrick states as we break off to our separate cars.

"Good luck with that" Amanda comments as I roll my eyes.

"Bye guys, I had a great time! Thanks for everything" I say getting in the car. I pull off and instead of going to mine or Artemis place I continue to drive into the city.

"Where are we going" he asks tad skeptical.

"Two words. Ice. Cream" I smile.
