Day ?

65 14 45

I knew you'd change my life, but not like this.

Echoes of shouts of my name go in my head as flashes of your face and his flash through as well.

Your smiling face.

His smiling face.

Your laughter.

His laughter.

Everything you two are and aren't alike in.

I see your smiling face at last and feel warmth spread through my chest.

It suddenly blends into him.

He isn't sad looking like he always is in my dreams.

Now he is smiling.

"Be happy..."

I reach for him.

Everything turns black.

What day is it?

I groan softly, eyes till closed, as I hear the familiar sound of a machine beeping.

I open my eyes slowly and wince at the sudden light that blinds me.

I raise my hand to cover my eyes only to feel something restrain it.

Frowning, I look down and see leather cuffs wrapped tightly around my wrists.

I blink, confused and look around, frantic.

What's going on?

I stop as I remember the last moments I had before everything went dark.

Guilt and regret fill my chest as flashes of my boss's crying face and your voice begging for me to stay with you.

I throw myself back onto the bed and look to the side.

My heart stops.

You're laying on the couch on the other side of the room asleep,

the light streaming from the window gently gracing your face making you glow.

I let out a soft sigh as I watch you sleep.

Damn, You're just breathtaking.

I watch as you sleep for I don't know how long.

I look away as the guilt and disgust settle in.

I never wanted you to see me like this.

There's a soft knock and I look over at the door as my boss comes in, back to me as he closes the door.

I stare as he turns, looking into a bag.

"Hey, I couldn't find what you asked for-"

He stops as he sees me and drops the bag running to me.

"You're awake!"

I shush him as he reaches me and grabs my shoulders.

"Be quiet, he's asleep!"

My boss stops and looks over at him as he shifts, turning on his side, back to us.

My boss sighs and looks at me.

"At least he is finally sleeping, He hasn't slept since you got here."

I frown and tilt my head.
