I put on a fake smile to hide the pain and yet I wish someone would just look closely enough and see just how broken I am on the inside.

I was sitting in maths class now. Actually trying to concentrate on what the teacher was saying.

After Dylan and I promised to keep our friendship a secret, he asked me how I was going to help. I smiled to him, and said that we were going to make him into one big ball of hotness and he laughed.

His laugh was the most cutest thing I had ever heard. I was happy that I had managed to make him smile. I had been successful in comforting him. I had shown him a side of me that no one had ever seen. But I didn't mind, I didn't mind mind because I trusted him. I wanted to be nice to him. I wanted to be there for him, as a friend.

I realized that I was now smiling to myself, and immediately stopped. I looked over to Aiden, who was already staring back at me.

"What?" I said.

He shook his head, "Let it go."

I rolled my eyes, and made sure he saw.

The school bell rang, and I was making my way to my locker

The school bell rang, and I was making my way to my locker. I saw Aiden had beaten me there, he was leaning against my locker, smirking.

"Baby, baby. I hope you still like me." He said, playfully.

I opened my locker, and took my things out. I had a ton of homework to catch up on. I closed the locker door, and leaned against the locker too, looking at Aiden. "I do, baby, why would you say such a thing?" I kissed his nose, and walked away. "You coming?" I asked, not bothering to look back if he followed.

"Where are we going?" He asked, as he put his arm on my shoulder.

I smiled to myself, "On a date." I said.

This was purely for show. Everyone needed to know that me and Aiden were still a couple. No one knew what really was going on. They couldn't know. They couldn't have the slightest bit of doubt, otherwise, my life, would be officially over.

I had a car, and so did Aiden. But we hated using them unless it was really necessary. After school traffic was a real bitch. We could walk to our destination, and it would take the same amount of time as it would have if we went by car. Plus, we're saving the environment.
