"Hang out"

Angels POV

"Why are we climbing up? Is this safe?" I keep on asking. Were climbing right now. He said this is the way to the zip line. Honestly I don't know what zip line is.

"Just relax, this is 100% safe." He said.

"Are there any humans up there?" I ask. My eyes widen when I use the term humans. But my heart felt at ease when I heard him chuckled.

"Yes, there are humans waiting for us up there so you don't need to worry." He assured me.

We reach the top and I found wires and metal things. I don't like the looks of it. There hanging for Pete's sake! The height is enough for me to hold onto Darren's arms for my dearest life. Oh right. I'm dead.

He look at me and took my hand instead.

"Don't worry, I'm here" he spoke. I look at him and punch his bicep lightly

"Why did you take me here?" I ask. He smiled and point at those hanging things.

"Were going to ride that thing. It's called a zip line."

"I don't like it."

"How can you tell you don't like it when you didn't even try it yet?"

"Because... Ugh, I'm scared." I said and cling to Darren's arm again. I look like a scared kid hiding behind my mother.

"How many times did I tell you not to worry? I'm here, and this is 100% safe." He said.

"Mag start na tayo sir?" A guy ask. Darren nod and approach the guy who's holding the harness and they start tangling it to him. He was just looking at me while some humans make sure everything was on place.

I whisper to my self that for the rest of this trip I'll be visible to the humans. I cant believe that it's possible. Natalie told me that I can only use it for special purposes. I'm gonna use it today. But I can only use it for 5 hours. So today humans can see me but not enough for them to care.

After Darren they approach me and start tangling the same wires and harness like Darren. I hold my breath as I felt the skin of some guys slides with mine. I can't imagine this happening to me again.

After like 2 minutes we were ready. Darren wore the helmet. He grab the other one and wore it on me. I heard it made a "click" sound.

"You better make sure this goes well." I threaten him. He look at me and smiled a little.

"Your cute when your nervous. I'll be holding your hand through it all." He said and we walk towards the hangin things.

After that were ready to zip. I look at him and he was just smiling extending his hand to reach mine. I immediately grab his and I can hear the count down from the back and when it reaches one I close my eyes as I felt the wind blow my hair.

I scream and scream while I heard Darren laughing beside me gripping my hand.

"Oh my glob I'm gonna die!" I shouted.

"Open your eyes!" He shouted. I shook my head to say no.

"I'm letting go!" He shouted again. This time I open my eyes and look at him.

"Don't you dare!" I said almost crying.

"Joke! I only said that so you can open your eyes! Look around you!" He said. And I did. I can see tall trees and mountains. It looks so peaceful plus the sun was almost setting. So it has an orange effect. And I can see rivers going to the sea.
