A month had passed since Drake Rogers and Charlotte Stephens entered Hogwarts.

It was a cool night - the last Sunday of November..

'—to hide it.'
'And?' scorpius asked.
'We are to go to madam pomfrey's today at eight.. Figure out the dad and.. then it's her decision whether she wants to keep it or not.'

Sirius sighed 'Why the hell have you not broken up with her?'
'Its not that easy.. I have tried.. but...'

'Hey, Drake could you do me a favour?'
'Sure. You name it.'
'Can you help me in gaining lily's trust.'

He remembered the night vividly.. his night with Lily...
Lily used to crush on James but then something must have happened..

'Did you do something big or disastrous to invigorate the thought that you were an arrogant bully?'

James paled. 'Oh god.. She must be still hung up over that.'
And with that he walked away with no explanation.

Scorpius knew that this was the father of Harry potter...
But who was his mother..?

The signs pointed out that it had to be Lily Evans but ... Lily would never even talk to James in a million years.
What if the future mother of the boy who lived was someone else and ... it was scorpius who had to guide James to her..

What if it all depended on his time-travelling into the past and making things right that harry potter was born..? That the dark lord would be defeated...

He entered the library.
There at the corner was a girl.. doing her homework in silence.
When her hair fell in between her eyes she used to push a thin red strand out of it.. Her mesmerising green emerald eyes shown in front of her parchment studded with her beautiful handwriting.

Her beautifully carved red lips were pursed as it was when she was deep in concentration. Her tongue often stuck out which scorpius knew was when she was trying to do a work fast..

One month.. was all he needed to admire all of Lily Evan's moves.
Now all he had to do was make the move.. but he didn't want to betray James..

But after lots of thinking, he decided to atleast be close to her... as a friend.

'Hey Lily.'
She didn't look up.
'Its Drake.'

'What do you want?'
'To do homework with you' and he sat down.
'If it has anything to do with Potter professing his love to me you may as well—'

'It isn't. Trust me.'
She didn't reply but chose to continue her work in silence.

'Your friend Charlotte.. I heard she is single.'
'If you are thinking of asking her out, you are doomed. She has a boyfriend.'
'Seriously? Damn.'

He knew that Charlotte had a boyfriend but with this move Lily was assured that he was not interested in her.

'So I hear—'
'Cut to the chase. What do you want, Rogers?'
'Why don't you set me up with one of your friends—'

'None are single.'
'What about you—'
'Huh. No. Never.'
'What?'
'You are trying not to be creepy but being quite subtle about it. I won't date you Rogers. I have better things to do then date and involve in the so called locution "love". The abstract concept of...'

But scorpius was too busy staring in her eyes to hear the rest.

'Scorpius?'
'Sorry.. um, got distracted.'
He thought he saw a flicker of smile.
'Um got lost from locution called love.. seriously though, locution?'

She smirked.

'Wait.. why are you smirking?'
'You know what you did? You just gave me the key to your heart. And dear me, blackmail comes naturally to me.'

'You wouldn't.'
'Wouldn't I?' she smirked evilly.

'Damn.'

Remus nodded solemnly.
Sirius meanwhile was hysterical.
'Damn right, I am a dad, bitch.'

'If things could get more complicated, I would pay one of you 50 galleons.' James sighed.

'I call dibs on the bet' scorpius shouted.
'Noo. You can't just call dibs on a bet—' Peter argued.
'Oh yes, you can. Trust me, you can.'
'Calling dibs is like doing something holy—' Remus started.

'I call dibs on the story.' Sirius said.
Remus stared at him.

'What's the story about?'
'Sirius and Remus came up with a story of two bro's inventing the concept of dibs.' Peter explained.

'Honestly if Sirius was not head over heels for McKinnon, I totally would have wanted those both to end up..'

Scorpius looked at the two of them arguing..

'Totally.'
