Scorpius Pov
'I need a girl' Peter muttered.
At once, Remus and Scorpius choked on their drinks, James fell off his chair and Sirius made a desperate attempt to faint, ending up falling from his own chair.

'Why is that so hard to believe?'
James and Sirius guffawed in laughter.
'Who would you date? Snivellus?'
The two of them burst in fits while scorpius refrained from laughing.

Remus on the other hand seemed worried for the boy.
'James, I need your help to talk with you know...'
'Don't you think Sirius might be a better choice at this.'
'Well, he's dating—'

'I could spare a few moments of my life to help my chum in the mystique art of wooing girls. P.S you need to do my homework for the rest of the week - and.. you might as well not mention any of this to marlene...'

But scorpius was no longer paying attention. As the days went by his crush grew bigger and bigger. He used to occasionally smile at her and when nobody was looking she would smile back.

He tried dating but no girl could fill her space...
She reminded him of someone he knew... but didn't anymore..

'You are not the only one who has a girlfriend, padfoot.' James said.
'Yeah sure like vane even counts as one.'
'Of course she.. all right. Who am I kidding.. it's just that I am all over Lily and the whole school knows it.. who would want to date me..?'

Once again scorpius zoned out.

'Guys. Guys. Cut the crap about who's more sexier' Remus shooted snapping him out of staring at Lily.

'I am thinking of asking someone out'
'And?' Sirius asked.
'I don't care unless padfoot admits I am way more sexier than him.'
Sirius snorted.
James huffed.

'Guys when I asked to cut the crap I meant it. I think I have a crush on this girl and afraid she might reject me.'

'Ooh little wemsy has a cwushy cwush ooh' Sirius cooed.
'Really? Cwush?'
'I suppose you might want to talk about it? What's the crushing level?'
'Level 0'
Sirius sighed. 'Thats fine'
'You guys still haven't stopped that wretched thing have you?' James interrupted.

'What is a crushing level, anyway?' asked Scorpius.
'Level 0 is normal. Level 1 is creepy stalker. Level 2 is crazy maniac. Level 3 is James Potter.'
Sirius ended laughing and hi-5ing Remus.

Scorpius laughed.

James ignored them.
'I am getting late for charms as well as getting ridiculed so I may as well leave' James left the table.

'We should go too'
'Nobody cares about me.. damn you guys' Peter sighed.

Remus Pov
'I am glad you came.'
'This is not a date? This is what you call a friend's evening? A candlelight dinner? What's a date for you?'

'A chocolate fest party, maybe.'
The girl stared at him for three seconds straight and just as Remus was about to say he was kidding,

'Yeah, that seems fair.'
'Sarcasm?'
'No. I mean it. I love chocolate.'

'No kidding. Me too' Remus laughed.
Awkward silence followed for the next two minutes until Remus decided to break it.

'So you and your boyfriend trying long distance?'
'Long distance is one thing in distance, one thing in time.'

'What?'
'Nothing.'
But Remus really thought that had meant something.

One thing in time..
Was her boyfriend dead?..

But he got the sign she didn't want to talk about it.
And then he just had to look into her eyes and ruin the night once and for all.

As he looked into the gorgeous chocolate eyes.. oh god! chocolate.. He just forgot everything.. and said the one thing he had regret all time..

He confessed his feelings to Charlotte Stephens.
'I think I am in love with you.'
