Chapter 20: Side Effects of being Drunk

"What do you think? Is it her? " Ren asked to Alice.

Alice and Ren was looking straight ahead to the couple under the tree near the brook.

Alice was staring at the couple and then looked at Ren, who had a worried look on his face, to answer his question.

" This is really hard to accept and believe but it is. She is the one.." Alice said with a little bit of disappointment.

She didn't like the truth.
She was attracted to him since childhood, now out of the blue a girl comes up and they be in a relationship.

". What! What do you mean it's her..?..How do you know it's her? "Ren questioned.
" I haven't said everything about my Oracle of Mind. Yes I left some parts as well..." Alice said with guilt.

"So, you are telling me that the destiny had already taken its turn before Ren n knew it....?" Ren asked.
"... Yes already.. " Alice completed.

" I don't believe it...! " Ren looked with shock, down.

It was this he was waiting for and it was what he wanted to know.
So that girl over there, who he thought to be some person playing around.... It is that girl who was in the Oracle. That strong, powerful, yet kind, understanding and the person whom he wanted to meet. It was admiration, respect, love, and happiness which he had felt for Alice. And till now he thought it would be Alice, but it wasn't.

" Alice, now since the Destiny has taken its turn. Do you think towards the future they will come...?"

Alice looked at Ren, with fear and surprise, and framed her sentence.
"They might be right here, as well, we just don't notice it. " she looked at the couple and said.

" I can't! I don't know anymore? I can't like you anyways. Don't keep on asking me this again and again..... " Nora told Dan.

Dan held her arm in her hand,and didn't plan of letting go.

" What did Alice say to you? Tell me. I will answer anything... " Dan told back.
".. If you don't..." Dan looked at Nora pulling her in close.

" Okay fine, I will tell everything.!... I love you so much, I love you so much that my heart aches, and it is so painful. That's not just it.... Don't laugh okay? "
Nora warned.
" Okay.. "
" I felt jealous of a Alice. She was clinging around you the whole time. I thought we would be together the entire day. Okay not the entire day, but at least an hour. But it didn't happen so..
You are an idiot, who goes around with girls all the time. But you never got it from me. Alice told me, that she was in love with you! It cost me a good friend, which was evil and mean. I couldn't even finish my meat because of you and your friend. Oh wait not just friend I suppose, your first kiss to girl of your age. I know you kissed her yet again. Over here. What? Memories of childhood come popping up? If you want her then go to her don't be so kind to me and all that. Laugh and smile and all that with her, you dumbest, lamest, pervert. You kiss everyone.. You said me you love me, I am so happy that I could hear that. But it pains. I am scared to love you. What if you leave me again and all that? What if you go running of to any other childhood friend and kiss her. When you are mine, I want you all to myself. You are my property! Get it? Now, I can't love you at all, because you don't tell me everything about you and as well as a promise with my sis and me., that I would never like a guy who doesn't tell anything about himself and all that. I hate the fact that you don't tell me anything."

Nora, was drunk and she was putting out her everything, just 40 minutes ago she had vomited in front of him. But he didn't feel disgusted at all. He instead helped her out.

After hearing her blast, he can't stop, but just giggle behind his right palm on his mouth.

Somehow she hasn't noticed. Dan had already realized that she was drunk. Thank God she controlled her self before hitting cloud 9.

"I tell you everything... Nora..." His slow husky voice, and his eyes along with his touch were continuously sending sparks on her body.

"Oh, really! Then what about the Oracle of Mind? " she  challenged him.

Dan was shocked to hear that from her mouth. Alice must have. Its only the 3 of us which has any idea about it.

" Sorry Nora, anything other than that, I would say... Alice is my childhood friend. I liked her only as a friend. She was the first one to teach me, how to play a fun game..? But trust me she was not my first kiss. The first kiss was a girl in my mind. I kissed her first. And I don't know if she is alive in this world..? I haven't seen her properly, in my mind as well. So what Alice told you was a lie and she was jealous of you. Now I kissed her because she wanted a last touch from me. Cause now she knows and I know, I love you and want you in my life. So for getting over that kind of a relationship with me, she wanted to end it nicely... And then all there in the party was just coincidences. I talked to her about you, that is why I laughed. All your funny stuff and our childhood games. That's it. And nothing more... " Dan finished.

Nora after hearing this sat down on the grass and actioned him to do it as well, with her other hand. He sat beside her, leaving her arm.

" Nora, accepts it all and belive you completely, because, Nora has no other choice and she loves you so much. But angry and pissed in 3 things, 1: Didn't tell about Oracle.. Or whatever.
2: Whether Nora is your fake girlfriend, or official girlfriend to you.
3: Nora can't like because of, a: oracle not telling, b: sis and me, not like people with secrets okay.

But Nora loves you, but can't love.."
Nora ended with a pout. She then lay her head on Dan's shoulder.

Dan looked happy that she did that action and smiled at her because she kept on saying Nora. With respect to herself. But couldn't accept about the Oracle at all. And had a darker face.... About the issue.

"Nora I love you, why do you want to know more about the Oracle. It will hurt you both mentally and physically. I just can't loose you. And I promise you, no matter what happens between us I will love you. I promise that. " Dan looked at Nora whose head was on his shoulder, he couldn't see her face because of her angle of sleeping on his shoulder.
" Nora? Are you listening? Nora...? " he whispered the last time.

He raised her head with his hand gently and realized she was sleeping. She looked to cute when she was sleeping. He had seen her so many times this way, and it was always hard to resist her when she was. You never get tired when she is this way. So innocent and pure, her mouth is shut from talking as well.
He wished he was the only who had seen her sleepy face and no one else had.

He smiled at her and came close to her lips and pecked a few kiss.

"At least now I know what's in your mind, thanks to alcohol. I wish you would remember what happened today when you wake up tomorrow. As Noel had said, I pretty much think that you won't remember it all."
Dan looked at her.

He put her hand over his shoulder and raised her body up, in a princess style. "Here, now of we go to your room."

He took her to her room and lay her there and told the maids to change her clothing and put her in her PJ's.

Dan looked at the maids and added some of his orders and said that she is not a maid anymore and that she would be my personal staff, and his girlfriend. They should give her that respect.

Dan's room was just the next room and that was something that he had arranged after the party, after officially telling everyone that Nora was his girlfriend. Now the whole world would know. That includes his brother and his parents.

He had other plans already done, and some already in motion. He wanted things to go as planned. He knows that danger is always coming, now that he had already proclaimed. The security is tight and every room is secured. Things are not going to be easy now, everything may change...

Since now, the girl is set, next is marking her. According to Ren it must be done, or the connection could be lost and she would never accept the case and the powers which Dan holds will erupt soon.
