Chapter 23: The Fear Of Being His

The sun shines brightly, the wind blows lightly...
Taking few steps, I can hear the leaves fluttering. The sounds halted my body, preventing my legs to take another step. I stood there without moving an inch. Soon something pink blew towards my face slowly like a feather, then another and then one more, but this time faster. I turn my head towards the direction of the incoming petal and I see a huge cherry blossom tree out of nowhere. My eyes widened to see the whole sight. The tree was so beautiful that my heart stopped beating. Awestruck, I stood beneath it and then soon another sound struck. As I concentrated more on the sound, it sounded less than the sound, but more like whispers.
Walked forward beside the tree to see a dark figure standing beneath it, he to was admiring the beauty... Or so I thought.

But it looked more like weeping while he placed one of his hand on the tree.
It was too sad for me to watch as well. Otherwise, why else was there tears in my eyes. It shouldn't have been so. Before I could think a second thought, I moved towards him and touched the figure which had still, no clear face. I reached on my toes to reach his lips and I kissed him. We both had tears but I said it was okay by a warming kiss. I could feel his lips on mine, very clearly as though they were truly real. My eyes were closed feeling his entire kiss truly on my lips.
But my heart kept on breaking. The whole in my heart, kept on paining. It was getting more and more harder to breath.

I was getting exhausted. But I still raised my hand to touch his face and feel his lips on mine.
I noticed how big his face was and how small were mine. My small hand which covered only 1/2 of his face.

It was getting more harder to breath.
I opened my eyes to check his face. There I could see his eyes.
We soon left each other's lips. The intensity and passion of this romantic act, made my knees tremble and my eyes wouldn't completely open.

I could feel his breath on my face.

I saw him just centimeters apart and found his eyes to be hazel. Pure hazel which reminded me of someone so close. But it seems I have forgotten. His eyes looked so sad, that I had to kiss him one more time.
I lunged forward, but at the same speed something pulled me back.

With a sudden acceleration..I could see everything disappear. I was thrown into complete darkness. It was so scary to be alone I searched for light.

I opened my eyes with a flash. To see a blur image of the same person in my dream talking something to me.

I realized after, that it was Dan.

Nora's head lay on Dan's chest. One of his arm went through the space between her neck and the car seat. While the other arm holder her hand towards him gently.
Dan looked at her concerned. She had been dreaming...

She smiled at Dan, and then widened her eyes more, to freak out and move away from him, because she couldn't have expected the situation so easily.
The way she lay casually on his chest, the way he held her, the way she slept so close to him all of the parts increased and rushed the adrenaline in her body.

".. What's wrong are you all right? It's looks like you had a bad dream. You okay?.... Nora why is your face so red?... "Dan asked innocently.

Nora touched her face with both the palm of her hands and felt her heat. She was already so surprised and now the heat was all that she needed in this obvious embarrassing situation.

"... I..uh..I am not embarrassed..! Okay...? You,... You are just feeling so.. "she stuttered in her words and turned her self towards the window of the car. She found an entire new landscape..

" You are so bad at lying..? " Dan said with a smirk on his face.

The group were traveling to Tokyo, to a 7 star hotel, Golden Inn.
