"My name is Kuroshi,"

"Okay, but that doesn't tell me what you want from me," I retort.

"It should be obvious, I want your Earth scroll,"

"You know," He said. "I really don't want to kill you,"

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, right," I scoffed.

"You should just give up," he continued. "You're weak. I've been observing the way you act, especially around your two male teammates. You're not cut out to be a ninja,"

He drew a long sword out, swinging it at me. I dodged again, trying my best to ignore his taunts so I wouldn't lose my temper.

I stayed quiet and he continued to talk.

"You couldn't even fend off your teammate, who I overshadowed,"

He continued trying to land a hit on me and I kept dodging it. Now his words were starting to bother me, but I had to try really hard to ignore them.

"You put everyone before you. That's what makes you weak," He finished.

I snapped.

"Shut up!" I yelled and pushed my hand against his sword. That was a bad idea since it was sharp, but right now, I didn't care. Blood started to run down my hand and dripped to the ground.

"I didn't want to hurt Rin, that's why I didn't fend her off. If it were anyone else, I wouldn't care!" I yelled.

"But you hate her. I've seen the way you act around her and the way you treat her,"

"So what? She's still a part of my team and plus, I plan to be Hokage one day. I won't let the likes of you get in the way of my dream,"

He looked at me and paused. He suddenly started to laugh.

"You? Hokage? Get real, Hana!" He laughed. "You could never be Hokage at the level you're at. You couldn't even take my sister down!"

He put his sword down and I stared at him with surprise. How did he know my name and who is his sister?

"You heard right," He said. "Nozomi Akamatsu is my sister,"

I widened my eyes.

"Then you...you could answer my question. What the hell does she want from me?"

"I don't know," Kuroshi shrugged. "And I couldn't care less. It's not like we're blood or anything, so I don't care about her,"

He put his sword back up and pointed it at me.

"Doesn't matter, looks like I'm forced to kill you, even though I don't want to," he said.

He attempted to stab me and I dodged, causing him to stab the tree instead. I started noticing that he had a pattern. If he got too close to the sunlight, he would stall and try to find his way back into the shadows. If he was in the shadows, he'd attack me with his kekkei genkai and would avoid the sunlight.

If I thought correctly, it seems like his kekkei genkai only works in the dark.

I decided to test my theory.

I ran towards him, throwing paper bombs. He jumped and I got closer to the sunlight and slowly tricked him into getting further away into the shadows by distracting him with paper bombs and senbons.

Kuroshi didn't realize that I was setting a trap up.

"Paper bombs? How do you expect to actually land a hit on me when you continue to use cheap tricks like this?" Kuroshi taunted.

I stayed silent, throwing kunais that had wire string attached to the handles. Maybe I wasn't as smart as Kakashi, Naomi, or Itachi Uchiha, but I still knew how to pull an enemy into a trap.

Kuroshi dodged each kunai, thinking that I was purposely trying to land a hit on him.

I threw one last kunai to the ground that was in the sunlight.

Once Kuroshi stepped into the area, I jumped up onto the tree.

"So, you're finally going to put up a real fight?" He asks.

I just stared at him without a word and started to weave signs

"Water style, raging waves!"

Kuroshi attempted to move and his eyes attempted to change, but nothing happened.

"What the...what did you do?!" He demands, trying to move.

He was stuck.

"Interesting," I smirk. "You act like you're so much better than me, but yet you were stupid enough to run from the kunais that I had thrown, which weren't for you, by the way,"

His jaw clenched and his golden eyes narrowed at me.

"What did you do?"

"I secretly attached wire string to the handle of all of the kunais and I threw them so it would tangle you up in the right spot. Those paper bombs that I set off earlier were just for distraction and when you finally stepped on the wire string that was lying on the ground, you fell into my trap. Now the wire string is holding you still," I explained.

He looked unamused.

"And you can't use your freakish kekkei genkai on me either now that you're in the sunlight!"

"So, you've figured out my kekkei genkai, didn't you?" He asks.

I sort of figured it out, but I still didn't understand. I didn't want to tell him that though, so he thinks that I know all of his weaknesses.

"Yup,"

"Okay, so now you know, but you shouldn't act like you have the upper hand here. I was specially trained to get out of these kinds of tricks," Kuroshi said, tilting his dead down. He used his teeth to snap the wire string that held everything into place.

My smirk dropped. Damnit.

"Hana!" Killer B shouted.

"Get Rin out of here and into safety!" I said to him.

"Fool! He's strong and you won't be able to take him on yourself!" B retorts.

"B," I turned to face him. "Get Rin out of here. I'm not going to repeat myself."

Killer B sighed with defeat and looked extremely worried.

"Fine."

He carried Rin out of sight and I turned back to Kuroshi, who had that devilish smirk on his face again.

"That was a big mistake, Uzumaki,"

He lunged at me, pointing his sword in my direction. I was too slow to react and now he was in front of me.

"And I'm taking that Earth scroll while I'm at it."

Well, I guess I'm about to lose now. I shut my eyes and braced myself for his attack. However, I didn't feel anything and heard a loud shout.

"Leaf Hurricane!"
