A/N: WARNING- there's a few spoilers of Catching Fire!!!
(Continued from part 23- at Forest's house)
After dinner, Forest and I started walking back to his room. "Wait!" His mom said running to her purse.
"What is it?" I asked.
She pulled out two tickets, "I bought you tickets to see the Catching Fire midnight premiere!" She said happily.
Oh my gosh. I've always wanted to go to a midnight premiere, but I could never buy tickets before they were all sold out. "Oh my gosh! I've been waiting for this movie since The Hunger Games came out!" I screamed jumping up and down.
"Me too!" Forest said smiling.
"Thank you so much Mrs. Davidson!" I said hugging her.
"No problem! Now y'all go have an awesome date," She smiled, "Oh, and Taylor, I couldn't ask for a better girlfriend for Forest. You're everything a young lady should have. If he ever does something I wouldn't approve of, you just come talk to me." She whispered into my ear.
I giggled, "Thank you. He's the best boyfriend ever, I love him so much."
"Oh yeah sure guys, just whisper things without me" he said throwing his hands up.We both laughed.
Once we got to the theater, it was crowded with people begging for tickets. We waited in the food line. "I'm going to pay for you." I smiled.
"What? No! The guy always pays." Forest said.
"Come on, just let me. Riley never let me pay and I felt so guilty. Plus, your mom paid for my ticket."
"Ugh, fine. But I'm going to sneak this ten dollar bill into your purse later."
"You better not." I said handing the cashier the money. Oh no. Over by the drinks were a group of people from school. And not just any people, Rachel and her group. Nervousness rushed through me until I realized something. I'm not with Riley anymore. She has no reason to attack me. "I'll be right back." Forest said walking to the restroom. I got our drinks as Rachel spotted me.
"Oh, hey Taylor! Weird seeing you here..."
"Why's that weird, it's just a movie theater."
"Anyway, I suppose you're here with Riley. Which means you never took my warning. Did you like what I did on facebook?" She said with a fake smile. Wait, she's Jessica's friend. You'd think she would know that he's single now.
"Actually, I broke up with him. And I don't check facebook anymore."
She did an exaggerated gasp, "You did? How could you break his little fragile heart?!"
"He cheated on me, with Jessica. But something tells me you already knew that." I tilted my head.
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't; does it matter? So, you're here alone like the loser you are?" Her friends snickered.
"No, she's here with me." Forest said walking up to us. He put his arm around me and smirked at her.
"Oh...good. You finally found someone more like you." She said scanning Forest.
"What's that suppose to mean?" Forest said stepping close to her, making her look like a little girl compared to him.
"Uhh, nothing!" She said looking slowly lifting her head up. "Oh wow, you have really hot eyes."
"Aye back off, he's mine." I said grabbing his arm and yanking him back. Did she really just insult him, and then compliment him?
"Whatever," She shook her head, "I have better things to do than talk to you two."
