A/N: I put a photo of what Forest's outfit looks like just for fun-not the guy tho! haha Forest has shaggy black hair and bright blue eyes (incase you forgot ;) Love y'all!
(Forest's POV)
A week had pasted since Taylor returned from the hopsital. She was slowly getting better, but her leg would be in a cast for a few more months. It was finally the weekened. The school week went by slowly. Taylor didn't have much free time between resting and making up work. Drama wasn't a huge issue, so that was a relief to all of us. Of course people talked, but there wasn't any major negativity.
I messed with my hair in the mirror, then brushed my teeth. I put on my usual outfit; tee shirt, jeans, and converse. To top it off I added a lightweight denim jacket.
Suddenly I remembered that we all wrote little paragraphs to Taylor that we were going to give to her last week. We all forgot! I ran into the garage and grabbed the notes from inside the notebook, folded them nicely, and stuck them into my back pocket.
"Mom, I'm going to go over to Taylor's. I'll be back later!"
"Okay, tell her I said hello!" My mom said as she flipped pancakes. I ran out the door then came to an abrupt stop and walked back in.
"Can you save me some pancakes please?" I begged.
She laughed. "Of course."
"Love you!"

I rang the doorbell and a very adorable looking Taylor opened the door. She was wearing pajama pants with bunnys on them and a light purple tank. "Well look at my cute little cupcake!" I said giving her a big tight hug.
"What are you doing here?" She asked surprised. "And don't make fun of my clothes! It's pretty early so I haven't changed."
"It's nearly one, love." I smirked.
"First you call me cupcake, then love. This sounds like one of my cheesy poems from middle school."
"But you are as cute as a cupcake!" I said knowing it would annoy her. "My little fluffy, frosty, sugary, sweet cupcake with sprinkles on top!"
"Stop or you're leaving." She said giving me a peck on the lips. "So why are you here?"
"Can't a boyfriend surprise his girlfriend with a visit since he's had no time with her since she got out of a coma?"
"We got a little time..." She said smiling softly.
"Not enough." I said grabbing her hand. She smirked and started going upstairs which took her a little longer now with a broken leg. I followed after greeting her mom who was on the phone with a friend gossiping about some reality television show.
Taylor sat down on her bed and patted the spot next to her, motioning me to sit there. "How are you feeling?" I asked.
"Forest, you've asked me that everyday this week...multiple times." She said rubbing my arm lightly. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me. The only thing wrong is that I've missed you."
"I've missed you too." I said looking deep into her brown eyes.
"Then why aren't you kissing me?" She smiled as she made her gaze down to my lips. She's never straight up asked me to kiss her before, it always just happened naturally. The distance between our lips slowly disappeared until they met. Her lips were soft and heavenly. We passionately kissed until she leaned away.
"I love you." She said softly. Every time she said those three words at a moment like this, it felt like hearing her say that for the first time all over again.
