-2nd Person POV-

Disgust.

Disgust was all you felt about yourself, another night with Ciel happened.

Pity.

You felt pity for Elizabeth Midford, your friend who was engaged to the man you slept with.

She loved him, but you weren't sure of how the earl felt about her.

She had no idea of this, even the slightest idea.

This had been going on for approximately three months.

You sat up on his bed, naked and slowly wore your clothes that were carelessly thrown across Phantomhive's room. Taking one look at the sleeping man you grew up with, you left the room as discreetly as possible.

Walking into your room, you quickly rushed to change into a new, clean maid outfit. Discarding the one you wore into a basket that was for laundry. You started with your duties, entering the kitchen only to find a 'one hell of a butler' cooking away.

"Ah, good morning (Y/N)." Sebastian Michaelis was his name, as he greeted you.

"Good morning." You replied, walking over to the stove to see what he was making. "What's for breakfast?" You questioned, watching the butler flip the contents in the pan.

"Eggs, scones and Earl Grey." He replied, as the oven sounded. "That must be the scones, I'll go get them." You said, grabbing oven mitts and opened the over door.

The fresh scent of baked goods wafted through the air, making you smile. As a little girl growing up in the Phantomhive household, you accompanied your mother who was a maid and often made the masters' breakfast.

You missed your mother dearly, but nothing could bring her back. The same goes to your father, another loyal servant to the Phantomhives, who was once head butler before the fire.

You placed the scones onto a plate as your thoughts vanished. Walking back to your room, you slipped out a small notebook with a pen attached to it from your pocket. Flipping it open, you pondered on last night's events.

~Flashback~

You laid on Ciel's bed, him doing the same. Both of you faced the ceiling, but you were focusing on what he could be probably be thinking about.

"What's up?" You asked, staring at him. He didn't reply, continuing to stare at the ceiling. He's been staring at the ceiling for quite a while, you swore it came alive.

Then he spoke. He spoke nine words.

"So I guess it's let die to let live."
