-2nd Person POV-

Ciel was dumbfounded. "Sebastian!" He yelled, ripping off his eyepatch.

The said demon appeared by his side the next second, hand on his chest. "You called?" The butler replied, as he gave a soft bow.

Ciel's contract glowed, "Find (Y/N). Now."

"Yes, my lord." As Sebastian left, Ciel couldn't help but just lay on your bed, breathing in your scent on the sheets.

"You were there for me when I needed you, and I could't even be there for you.. I'm sorry." He muttered, hugging your bedsheets as tears started to form.

The earl couldn't stop the few tears that slipped out of his eyes, letting it drip down his cheeks.

"I want to make things right, just please come home ."

-The next morning-

Ciel hasn't slept a wink since the previous night.

He couldn't even close his eyes.

His mind seemed to cloud over with you the second he closed them.

"Young master, I'm deeply sorry but, I couldn't find her." His faithful butler returned.

A loud echo resounded through the study.

"What do you mean, you can't find her ? " Ciel seethed, staring at Sebastian.

Sebastian nodded, ignoring the glowing red mark on his face.

"I managed to find where her scent led to, but I couldn't find anything more beyond it. It's just as if she disappeared, right there." Sebastian himself was confused, he knew you were just a mere human. Yet, he couldn't solve why her scent didn't go any further.

Ciel rubbed his temples in annoyance. His butler was a demon, yet he couldn't track you down?

Sebastian sighed. He knew you ever since he joined the Phantomhive household. You were somewhat special to him. You welcomed him with open arms, your smile brightening up his day. Heck, you even aided him to secretly keep cats in the manor!

Though, it irked him that you were into his master. He knew you deserved more than that. Maybe, Sebastian thought, he could save you from all the pain. If only you'd let him.

Sebastian felt a throb in his chest.

Is this what they call, pain? The butler thought.

••

"She just disappeared, like that?" Ciel questioned.

Sebastian nodded.

"Yes, young master. I could even show you were her scent ends." The butler offered.

The master and butler pair were off, Ciel in Sebastian's arms as they sped off.

The servants were in the dining hall, sitting together.

"This is bad, yes it is!" Mey-Rin said, looking at the rest of the servants who wore the same expression as her.

They all knew you didn't show up, they had already checked your empty room.

"(Y/N) goes missing, and Young Master is infuriated!" Bard sighed.

Finny couldn't help but feel a twinge of pain, as he held a hand to his chest.

(Y/N), wherever you are, please come back soon. The gardener thought.

"Ho, ho, ho.." Tanaka's voice went quiet, nodding to the servants in agreement then took a sip of his tea.

"Where could've the pretty lady gone? , says Oscar." Snake said, a hint of sadness in his eyes.

A slapping sound was heard, as all of the servants flinched.

They knew it was their master, who was most likely fuming at Sebastian.

The servants knew the earl and you were close, and it most likely is hurting him that you're missing.

Pluto howled in the garden, knowing your disappearance.

The demon dog liked your presence, you always provided him with treats and hugs.

You were like a sibling to them, ( a daughter to Tanaka ) always encouraging and helping them.

Please come home soon, (Y/N).
