Kiss the girl, Bucky!

You held Bucky close, his head on your chest and your arms wrapped around his head like you were cradling him. He had juat had a nightmare, a bad one too. He sobbed into your chest as his day's of future's past came back to him.

He clung tightly onto you, like he was scared to let go. He held himself together as he stopped crying. His beautiful blue eyes looked into yours, searching for warmth and comfort.

Of course he found exactly what he was looking for.

You stared down at him, ready with comforting words as you pet his soft brown hair. "Are you okay?" you asked, searching for an answer in his eyes. He looked down at your stomach, his eyes watering again.

"I'm a monster."

You looked at him again, his words crushing your soul. "No, baby, no. You're not a monster."
He looked back up at you again, and said, "Yes. I am." Your heart broke as he said these things and determination filled your voice.

"James Buchanan Barnes. You are not a monster. You are a sweet, gentle, kind man, who does not deserve these nightmares. You are an amazing person, and I don't deserve you. I love you."

He looked at you, for a moment, until crashing his lips upon yours. You kissed him back instantly, feeling as though you got your Bucky back.

He pulled away, momentarily, as he looked at you. "I love you too, Doll. And if you don't deserve me, I sure as hell don't deserve you."

That night, wrapped in each others arms, neither of you had any more nightmares.
