Fog surrounded the hills, towering over were mountains, and on the monstrous rocks sat an old man.

He breathed in the fresh, thin air. Eyes opening, he felt a disturbance that mixed with the early morning breeze. He closed his eyes again. Squeezing his small fists, his wrinkled face scrunched up making more wrinkles. His bracelet glowed green, a light spirit came out of the magical piece of jewelry.

It flew out to shore, skimming the waves, making its way to a large, dark ship. The green entity then climbed up the side, it reached the sails of the ship, peering at the people aboard.

Back in the mountains, miles and miles away, sat the old man. His face more relaxed, but his whole eyes were green. His body a cavity, his spirit observing the ship members.

He then transported to a castle where a prince was planning with a king.

The frog took in the prince,

"This boy is the one." The old man said.

The green spirit transported back into the man's bracelet.

He needed his messenger for his powers were useful to an extent, being 285 years wasn't too old, but he couldn't make his spirit any more real than transparent. He needed someone.

He knew who. His best most improved student, Gabbie.

As if she had heard his thoughts, the girl came up the steep stone steps, her hair blowing in the wind.

"Master Fu, they sent me back here...again. I couldn't help it, the new weapons seem like so much fun. And I know I'm not supposed to touch any weapon without your consent but I couldn't help it they were so shiny and new and some of them glow when I touch them and I really really really wanted the new sword for training because mine is old and rusty I'll take care of this one I promise Master can I keep-"

He put his hand up to stop her,

"I will allow you to use your new power. You have become strong enough. "

"Really! Oh thank you thank you thank you!!!" She jumped up and down. Master Fu continued,

"I am sending you on a journey, this is an important mission, for there is a kingdom in grave danger, they do not know what is coming. A dark power I haven't felt in centuries has returned. The ladybug is back, back for revenge. Here, take this. Your mother used this, before her spirit left this world, she asked me to give this to you when you were old enough. "

He handing the red-haired girl a beautiful peacock brooch. It had teal feathers, one gold oval was dotted on the tips of each feather. Her brilliant green eyes widened as she reached for the brooch. Her pink lips grew into a smile and her eyes rose to her Master with kindness and gratefulness for the gift.

"And I want you to bring this to someone else, you will know who it is when time comes. Your journey will be long, use your power to help you go faster. Say 'Wings, soar' when you do. Time doesn't stop. And destruction doesn't wait. Go my dear, go!"

He handed her a red box, in it a silver ring with a paw print engraved in the center. Gabbie looked up, nodded, and ran out.

Down the steps, she fiddled with her brooch trying to put it on. Once it was pinned on her chest she said,

"Wings, soar!"

A teal glow surrounded her, gold flashed and changed her clothing. Her training clothes turned teal and a coat was added, out sprouted beautiful peacock feathers from under the belt holding her coat. A teal mask covered half her face, gold lined the mask as well as her eyes. Never had her green eyes been so vivid, she found a sheathe at her side, a sharp sword in it. Pulling it out she found the handle wrapped in teal-like metal, gold was engraved into the handle in a spiral, feather-like prints engraved in gold were scattered over the blade.

She was magnificent, the teal aura gave her energy that made her run at a faster speed. So fast it was as if she was floating of the ground. She reached a tall mountain, Master Fu and his training center and temple miles away. Wind blew across her face, her red hair waved in the wind.

Her hand searched her pocket, pulled the box out, and looked at the ring.

This was important, the ring would call for the ladybug. She will come. Gabbie saw the castle sit in between the ocean and the mountains.

Her gaze spotted a kingdom miles away using her ability to see far away.

There she would find a prince who would own the ancient ring. And they, the peacock and cat, would defeat the butterfly and ladybug.

Once and for all.
