Chapter 10: The Attack Begins

They stood shoulder to shoulder, Ladybug inspected each pirate of the crew, most were her friends: Nathanael the Evilillistrator, Alya, Lady Wifi (has the power to "connect" with any living creature like plants and animals using them to fight), Nino the Bubbler of Poison, Mylene the Horrificator, Ivan the Stoneheart,Rose the Princess of the Minionizing Fragrance, Juleka the Reflecta(not only can she turn others to look like her, she reflects your fear onto the Horrificator to turn Mylene into your greatest fear),and Alix, the Timebreaker (she can travel back in time or into the future for only a few seconds before going back to the present, the more time she spends skating, the more seconds she's "sees").

A space at the end of the line proved someone on board did not join and follow Ladybug's orders.

Out of another pocket she pulled a small ladybug. It fluttered onto the flowers of her hat. As the bluenette miles, she brought the ladybug close to her face and whispered,

"Fly, my ladybug, find the one who has not come."

The ladybug's colors glowed in response and flew into the ship in search for the one who did not participate in this inspection. This was no ordinary inspection, it was important. So important a door creaked open from the top deck, which meant the someone was emerging from the captian's cabin.

Tall, frightening, and shadow like came Papillon. His face covered with a silver-grey mask under his dark purple hat was much larger than the rest of the crew's. It was silent on the ship as well as the ocean. It seemed that all was afraid of the man who sailed the oceans to plunder and murder. The wooden floor creaked at each step as he made his way to the empty spot, when he reached Ladybug he closed his eyes and mouthed words only he could understand.

A flutter could be heard, the ladybug was flying toward the pirates but it was no longer glowing red or pink. Instead, the glow was dark,menacing purple and the body had thinned to dark purple,it's wings expanded and black spots took over the red back. It was no longer a ladybug, but an Akuma and it fluttered to Papillon's brooch. Papillon turned to Ladybug,

"You need to have a stronger control over your ladybugs. Strengthen your power over those ladybugs and they will be harder to take over, or they will be like this ladybug."

Ladybug, the bravest of anyone on the ship, possibly in the world, shook in fear in the presence Papillon. 

Stumbling echoed from below deck rising to the top, the same purple glow surrounded a girl in orange, fox ears popping out of her hat. Her tails was tucked in between her legs as she fell in front of Papillon.

"Volpina, Ladybug sent orders for everyone to come to this inspection,you dare not follow them?"

"I am sorry captain I was- getting myself ready."

Her hands fiddled and she appeared to what we call in present future time "glitched".

"Don't lie Lila."

Papillon gave her a look that meant something only the fox could understand. And indeed she did. Her orange gloved hands covered her fox ears,

"Please captain I do not wish to be reminded of my past."

Papillon pointed to the empty space, Volpina tilted her head in confusion. He kicked her, she whimpered and limped to the space like a dog. Ashamed, Volpina's orange fox ears drooped low.
