Death in the family

It has been a year since Jackson, Lucy, and Nashi came back to Fairy Tail and since Lucy and Natsu had become a couple along with Cana and Jackson. Nashi had grown attached to Cana after she found out about her and Jackson the same thing had happened to Cana. If Nashi wasn't with her friends she usually was with Cana doing anything from hanging out at the guild or walking around town.

Every now and then Jackson would see some random animal with a blue mark on it but once he even looked at it it flew or ran away.

"Alright Jackson see you in a few days. Make sure she eats, takes a bath, and goes to bed at a reasonable time. Nashi you be good for your uncle." Lucy said as she boarded a train. "Yeah yeah yeah. Don't worry just make sure you guys are safe alright!" Jackson shouted as the train pulled away. "So what are we going to do today?" Nashi asked looking at her uncle. "Well I was going to go hunting after I went to the guild. So lets head back to the house after and grab some gear then head out." Jackson said as they walked towards the guild hall. Once they got in they walked up to the bar. "Hey you two. What are you guys plan for the next couple days?" Mira asked looking at the two. "Were going hunting just thought we'd come in for a late lunch before heading out." Jackson said looking at the menu.

Once they had finished lunch they were heading back to Jacksons house. "So what are we going hunting for?" Nashi finally asked as they entered the house. "Whatever we can find." Jackson said as he walked towards a wall and pulled a picture off to reveal a number pad. He entered the code and apart of the wall moved to reveal a room full of guns and ammo. "But first, I have a present for you." Jackson said as he pulled out a polished wooden box with a ribbon on it.  He took it and set it in the kitchen. Nashi sat in front of it as she pulled the ribbon off. When she lifted the lid she found a handcrafted bolt action hunting rifle with the Fairy Tail emblem carved into the butt stock and a bipod on the front. "Its so beautiful. But why?" She asked looking at him. "I just thought that it was time you had one of your own. But till your mother comes back and we get a proper case for it at your house it stays here." Jackson said as he went back to the gun room and grabbed his own hunting rifle.

As they got ready Jackson had put on his hunting coat and grabbed two orange hats. He walked to the door and just before he walked out he put one of the hats on Nashi's head and then one on himself. "Their now were ready to go hunting." After walking for half an hour they came to a clearing and saw a deer. "Alright Mishka this one is all yours just remember what I taught you." Jackson said as Nashi crawled forward and set up her gun. She started to breath slowly that's when the deer looked up and 'BANG' the next thing that happened the deer was on the ground. They walked out to the deer. "Good job one big buck." Jackson said as he heard a low growl. He turned around and saw three wolves with the Blue Dragons guild mark in the middle of there faces. "Nashi get behind me now! We have to leave." Nashi did what she was told as Jackson pulled out his pistol. They slowly backed away "Max. Jethro. Come on!" he called just as the first wolf attacked Jethro. Then Max and the second wolf both jumped at each other and met in mid air. The last one tackled Jackson knocking the gun from his hand. "Nashi run back to the guild and get help. 'But I can help'." Jackson shouted as the wolf bit his arm then another wolf came running out of the wood line. Jackson punched the wolf on his arm and just as the wolf was about to bite Nashi, Jackson grabbed its legs and it scratched Nashi and snapped its jaw a few inches from her face. The wolf turned around and glared at Jackson. "Go now!" He shouted as he threw the Wolf and was attacked by the other one.
