June's P.O.V.
As Michael came down the stairs of the stage, I managed to push through couple of people crowding around him, landing in his arms.
"Where did that amazing voice come from?" I yell due to the music being played so loudly, earning a light chuckle from him. "You gave me that voice", he responds and embraces me even tighter as he whispers into my ear: "That's why I dedicated this to you."
His words brought a smile to my face, and as he held onto my hand, he pulled be out of the crowd to the bar, placing me on the barstool next to him.
"Do you still have the beers?" He questioned as he points towards the table were we originally had sat.
"I don't know, I don't see any glasses standing there." I shrugged and place my hands, folded, on top of the countertop. "You're really, really good at singing."
"Well, thank you." Michael gave me an appreciative wink. "The DJ is a good friend of mine, we knew each other for a long time. I asked him previously whether I can give the crowd a little performance at his club."
The wooden countertop vibrated lightly, the barkeeper slid a tiny shot glass along the surface. "I can't do this", I breathed out, staring at the liquid with a color that resembled caramel in front of me. "Too strong."
"Are you hypothetically touching on the fact that you're a lightweight?"
"Pretty much."
Passing the shot to Michael, I rest my chin on the ball of my hand, my body too fatigue to absorb any more alcohol. "Listen, I think it's better if we get going."
The shot disappeared in a swift sip, the sound of the glass hitting the table startled me. "We weren't here for nearly an hour."
"Mike, please..."
The boy turns on his barstool and jumps off, clumsily landing on his feet. "Oops."
I wasn't even able to comprehend how a simple shot can trigger a tipsy behavior in him. Him calling me a lightweight? I chuckled.
"There's nothing to laugh about", Michael whispers and pulls me back onto the table we previously sat. He insisted to watch more performances and almost persuaded me to go up there and perform, but my headshake remained firm.
As the clock on my phone hit midnight, I hold onto Michael's shirt, pulling him vigorously out of the nightclub.
"Great night", a very wasted boy slurred without paying attention at his feet. I watch him trip over signs on the side of the street, and after the fourth sign he pushed over, I jump forward to prevent him from falling once more.
The way home seemed shorter that it was as we got there. Darkness welcomed us as we open the front door.
"I think I dropped my phone outside." Realization washed over me as I padded down my pockets in search of my phone.
"I'll help looking." Michael pulled open the door once more, unfortunately not as quietly as we were supposed to, and walked along the front garden.
From the corner of my eye, I noticed a silhouette standing by the gate, in surprise I gasped, but as my head fully turned around to examine the figure closer, it disappeared.
"Hey!" I hear Michael's voice hissing, "is this one yours?"
In his hand was an old, black iPhone. "There we go", I responded and lunged forward to grab the device out of his hand.
As I stood on my tippy-toes to reach for the phone, I lock eyes with the boy in front of me. His eyelids were partly open, unknowing whether his eyes remained like that due to him being under the influence of alcohol, but those milliseconds that we spent gazing at each other's eyes triggered something within him.
One of his hands found my lower back, pulling me closer to him. I had my arm somewhat awkwardly between his torso and mine, but my eyes wouldn't leave his. I feel the warm breath of him hitting my cheek as he leaned forward, planting a soft kiss on my lower cheekbone.
"You're... beautiful", he whispers hoarsely, "like a little pearl in the sun."
"Pearl in the sun?" I let out an uncomfortable chuckle. "What do you mean by... in the..."
My brain lost control over my hands, I did wild gestures as I explained feverishly what he meant by his comparison.
The feeling of my phone buzzing pulled me out of my confusion. "I need to get that..."
"It can wait", Michael firmly wraps his arms around me. "I just gotta do one thing."
Within seconds, unexpectedly, I feel his lips connecting to mine. And we started... kissing. That word sounded to unfamiliar on my tongue.
Due to the lack of knowledge in how to properly kiss a person, the situation grew in its awkwardness but Michael had clever ways in how to cope with them. The sensation was indescribable, but I felt loved. Like somebody actually gave me the sense of self-love. As his lips moved slower and carefully, I find my palm laying behind his neck, making him trigger a surprised gasp.
Holding my breath, I let go and push him softly away from me. "You're drunk." The feeling of shame in my body became present. "This wasn't real."
"It was", the boy answered, "I mean it. You're a very, very lovely girl. I couldn't hold myself. Did I do anything wrong? Made you uncomfortable?"
Shaking my head in frustration, I guide him back to the house and turned my phone on. One missed call from Calum.
"I'm gonna go to sleep." My voice began to shake. "And you didn't do anything wrong. Promised."
I ran up the stairs, it felt like an eternity. My heart was torn between so many people; my mother, my sister, Michael, Calum, everybody who contributed to who I am now.
Did I call Calum back? For one slight moment I thought it might be the best idea but I stopped myself, finally. Sometimes you have to let go people in order to move on. Am I right?

(A/N): Ally is not dead.
Holy shit you guys, I cannot say how much I apologize for updating so sloppy. I took a break from wattpad for around a month due to the fact that stress was literally around every single corner, I broke up with my now ex-boyfriend two weeks ago and just... so many things happened. I had to keep up with so many classes, but luckily I still have A's in every class which makes me happy as shit. I'm so deeply, incredibly sorry if I haven't updated in a while and as you can see, I removed two of my books because I didn't feel like continuing them. Sorry about that too. I feel terrible for not coming on wattpad for a long time but with this update I wanna say that I'm back on track and my author's block went away.
Hopefully y'all understand and hopefully you liked this crappy chapter! I hope my next ones are gonna be better !!! :)
Stay tuned and enjoy friday! (TGIF!)
