{12} "They're Matching You Up With Girls Now?"

"Levy-channnn," I whine at lunch, propping my head up on the table with one hand.

"I mean, there's other girls in health class, Lu~chan. He'll probably bother them," she says sympathetically, patting my head.

"Yeah, but you don't get it, Levy," I sit up right and push my blonde hair back. "He sits next to me. And I mean, right next to me. And he's my bunkmate so it's like hitting two birds with one stone for him with me."

"Oh, well you're on your own then," she sighs and shrugs her shoulders.

"Very helpful, Levy," I comment sarcastically and lie my head back down on the cold table.

"Why did you change classes?" I ask immediately as I shut the door to our room.

"I wanted a different credits class," Natsu says plainly.

"Yeah, but why health class? Out of all subjects, you had to choose the one I was in?"

"Mmm..." He thinks for a moment. "Yup."

"Ugh," I roll my eyes and walk over to my bed, pulling my laptop out of my backpack and opening it up. I sit on my sheets and put the computer on my lap, putting in my password and starting on homework.

*ring ringa ding ding* My phone goes off. I lean over to pick it up off the beside table.

Incoming call from Yukino

"Heya, Yukino, what's up?" I hold the phone between my ear and shoulder, opening up a new tab on my laptop.

"Hey, Lucy," she responds. "Do you think you could come over to my room to talk about uh.. Sting?"

My heart drops. Why would she want to talk about him?

"Uh, sure. What's your room number?"

She states her room number and I close my laptop, not bothering to shut it off. I place it in my bed and stand up.

"I'm going to Yukino's room!" I say and walk out the door, shutting it behind me, leaving Natsu on his own.

I walk down the hall, turning the corner to her room. I knock on the door. Her room was at the very end of the hall. She opens the door a few seconds later.

"Hi, Lucy!" she says. "Come in, come in." She gestures me to step is die and closes the door behind me. Her room was extremely best and organized.

"Nice room," I compliment.

"Thanks. It's only me here, so I clean everything," she replies.

"Wait, only you live here?"

"Yeah," she says. "I wasn't assigned a bunkmate."

"Lucky."

"What? You not happy with you're bunkmate or something?"

"Natsu is my bunkmate," I say. That's all I have to say. She nods sympathetically and pats my shoulder.

"I'm sorry," she says.

"Anyways, what did you want to talk about?" I ask her, taking a seat on a wooden chair.

"Oh, Sting is coming over soon. He wanted to talk about something," Yukino replies, walking to the mini fridge in the corner. "Want a Coke or something?" she asks, opening the door.

"Sure, thanks." She hands me the cold drink and I take it from her.

The door clicks open and the familiar blonde walks in. "Sting!" Yuki no runs up to him and he pecks her on the lips.

He looks towards me and runs the back of his neck. "Oh, hey there, Lucy."

"Hey."

"Sooo..." Yukino says.

"Uh, how's things back at the ol' konzern, Lucy?" Sting asks.

"Pretty good since you left. Mom and dad gave up on trying to pair me up with boys," I sigh.

"Wait, so they're matching you with girls now?" he asks, completely and utterly confused.

"No, baka!" I yell (No, stupid!). "I meant they're not pairing me up with anybody anymore!"

"Ohh," he drags off. "Anyways, I just wanted to know if you were alright with..."

"With?"

"Y'know.."

"I don't actually."

"If you were okay with me and Yukino-"

"Yukino and I-" she interrupts.

"-now's not the time for grammar- being a thing."

"Yeah," I reply. "I mean, it's been years Sting. I think I'm okay," I assure him.

"Ok, phew." He huffs out air and sinks to the floor, his back on the wall.

"I should probably head back to my dorm since this conversation is over," I say. "I still got that portrait to finish." I stand up and push the chair in.

"See ya guys tomorrow," I close the door behind me.
