{6} Eavesdropping and Encounters

"So, what was that about in the hallway?" Levy asks.

"I'll explain later," I tell her. "The real question is what I was trying to ask."

"Ask wha- ohhhhhhhhhh nothingitsnothingiswearitsnotlikehenoticesmeoranythingitsjustthathesitsnexttomeformostclasseshehehee...." She jumbles her words together.

"I... Did not get a word you said," I say.

"Cana's here, b!itches!" The door slams open from Cana kicking it and it hits the wall, leaving a dent where the door knob landed.

"Oh great," Levy says sarcastically. "Now she'll be up in my business too."

"For your information, I am not gay, so I won't be up your as-"

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID!" I can't help but laugh at the two of them fighting.

"Anyways," Cana says. "I've actually heard the whole conversation that you had in the hallway with Erza and Mirajane."

"NANI?!" Levy and I yell (WHAT?!).

"Yeah! Oh and by the *hic*-" Cana you're drunk again- "way. Mirajane, senior, official shipper of Fairy Tail University. I mean seriously, have you seen her shipping book? It's like her holy bible! Her and Laxus are basically the power couple of the school, not even kidding. Laxus is Mr. Makarov's grandson, by the way," she adds.

"Anyways, Lucy," Cana says, taking another drink from her bottle. "I wanna know what was happening between you and Natsu yesterday. Looks like you two were getting pretty... comfortable..?"

Levy snorts and I slap her arm.

"Well..." I drag off. "You see... Natsu was basically trying to get in my pants but then Erza came in and Natsu was trying to act all innocent but then he tried making Erza all jealous and stuff so she'd leave so he started doing... Things... to me so that she'd, I dunno, get jealous I guess and so she left eventually but then Natsu wouldn't stop doing that so that's why I called you Cana and I think you can explain the rest to Levy because I'm running out of breath." I sped up the last few words and take a deep sigh at the end.

It takes them a while to process what I just said.

"Ohhhhh..." They both say.

"Well, better get back to my dorm soon." I get off of Levy~chan's bed and head to the door. "I got homework to do," I say while twisting the knob.

"And Natsu," Cana mutters.

"I CAN HEAR YOU!" I yell. "AND EEW!" I slam the door behind me and walk down the hall.

Such a shame that I have to share a room with him. School would be so so much better if I had Levy as a roommate. Or even Cana or Juvia. Speaking of which, I haven't spoken to Juvia since yesterday. Not to self: Talk to Juvia tomor-

I stop my thoughts when my hand is on the handle to the dorm. No sound. Maybe's he's out agai-

"Faster, Natsu!" a female voice moans.

Haha, yeah NO. I'll just explore the campus and hope my mind stays innocent. I do not want to know what's happening in the room I share with him. I repeat, share.

"I-" I hear Natsu start to say- "I think I'm gonna-"

YUP! Don't wanna know what's gonna happen next. Or do you? Shut up brain!

Note to self: Bleach the room when I get back.

I continue walking down the hallway, hoping to cleanse my mind of what I just overheard. I hear a door click open. I turn around and see a pretty much naked Lisanna running out of our room with nothing but a blanket wrapped around her.

That better not be my blanket.

So that's what Natsu meant yesterday... EEW

I exit the dorms and into the courtyard. Not many people are out, just the occasional couple eating off each other's faces behind a wall or something, no biggie.

I sit on the nearest bench and grab out my phone from my backpack. Now that I think about it... I haven't checked my phone in almost two days. WHAT IS PUBLIC SCHOOL DOING TO ME?!

Most of the notifications are either texts from my mom asking how I'm doing or texts from my dad apologizing about how eager mom is. So... I haven't missed much basically.

Well, hopefully Natsu is clothed by now, I think. Better head back to my roo-

I bump into someone, making me lose my focus.

"Hey," I say, "Watch where you're-"

"Lucy?!"

"Sting?!"
