Let's begin.

Alexander POV

  I woke up the next morning still in pain from what happened last night. Yeah, my breaking point is definitely coming soon. I don't know who's gonna catch it first though, my parents or Dominic lil stupid ass if he keeps this shit up. Let me get dressed and ready for school. I checked my stomach to see if the bruises were still there, duh they were. I don't why I thought they were gonna disappear overnight. I finished getting dressed and headed out the door, ignoring my father who was sleep downstairs. I called Aurora and asked her to come pick me up, I'm trying to give Sage a break lol. 

 "Good morning sunshine!" she said when she pulled up. "Good morning baby girl!" I smiled. "Um excuse me sir, where's my hug?" she asked with a frown on her face. I laughed and gave her a hug. She loves hugging people, well me and Sage specifically. We made jokes on our way to school. For some odd reason, I had a weird feeling about today. "Xan, we have P.E and the teacher said we have participate this time so I brought a sweats or shorts for you. I didn't know which ones you would prefer so I brought both of them." Ror said as we were pulling into the school's parking lot. "I'll take the sweats. I'm a bit cold today. Thanks Ror." I said. Damn nigga when you gonna tell the truth for once?

  "Come on let's go. Sage brought us some dunkin doughnuts." she said getting out of the car. "Here you go, sausage egg and cheese for you, and big n' toasted for you." Sage said handing us our food. "What no hash browns?" I said. "Look in the bag genius." she said. I saw two pack of hash browns in the bag. "Whoops my bad. C'mere bring it in." I said giving her a hug. "Yea nigga I knew. Oh and here." she said handing me my lemonade and Aurora her orange juice. We all proceeded to walk to our first period class, eating along the way. We took a seat and finished our food. "This was love right here." I said cleaning up and taking a sip of my lemonade. "For real! Thanks Sage!" Aurora said. "Anything for y'all." Sage smiled. We threw our bags in the trash and not even two seconds later, the bell rung. Let's get this day over with.

 Later That Day

  So far today has actually been a good day. I did have a pop quiz in math but I aced it, at least I hope I did. One of the reasons why I dont' really like pop quizzes that much, you're never prepared for them (I know that's why they are called that but damn). "I hope we aren't doing a lot today. My brain and body needs a break." Sage said as we were walking to the gymnasium. "Me too but it's cool we have lunch after this so that makes up for it." We made it there just in time for the late bell to ring. "Alright class today we're gonna be doing some exercises and then we'll play dodge ball after that. How does that sound?" Ms. Hill said. 

  Everyone agreed to it and she told us to go into the locker rooms to change. I froze up because that meant that someone would see the bruises on my body and I really don't need people in my business, especially none of these boys. I decided that I would wait until everybody else changed before I would change. Once everyone cleared out, I began to change into my sweats and gym shirt. I was pulling my shirt down when David walked into the room. I forgot he had this class with us. The good news is my shit was damn near all the way on so most of the bruised areas were covered except for the one near my hip, which caused me to pull the shirt down. I quickly walked past him and went to join the rest of the class. I really hope he didn't see anything. 

    When he came out, class begin. He stood next to me and waited for the teacher's instructions. "OK class, we're gonna do some basic stretches, jogs and jumping jacks. Then you can have the rest of the period for dodge ball. "This is gonna be fun." I heard David say. Yea for you, I'm not playing. Once we finished the exercises, I asked Ms.Hill if I could sit dodge ball because I wasn't feeling too good, the pain was coming back a little and playing dodge ball would made it worse. I went back and changed into my regular clothes then sat on the side and watched the rest of the class play. Sage and Aurora was on one team while David and Dominic (forgot to mention he had this class), were on the other. Sage and Aurora's team won the first round with Aurora hitting Dominic in the face with the ball. "My bad!" she said to him but grinned to me. After about three more rounds, the bell rung.  I waited for Sage and Aurora to change and then we headed towards the lunchroom. "Xand why didn't you play" Aurora asked me.

   "I didn't feel too good." I said as we grabbed a tray and a piece of salmon from the lunch lady. After we got everything we wanted to eat, went to our table and just talked about random things. I saw Dominic sitting over there with David, he ain't say nothing to me though. I guess his ass learned that I'm not the one. When lunch was over, we went to our next class, which was political science. "I hope we are having a good debate today." Aurora said as the bell rung.

End Of The Day   

 "We're done! Today was a good day though." I said as we walked out of the building. "It really was though. No drama or nothing." Sage said. "That's what I like. Y'all work today?" Aurora said. "Nope we're both off today." Sage said.  "Must be nice. I got to work today, so I'll see you two tomorrow." she said hugging us both. "Let's go kiddo." Sage said as we got in her car. "See you tomorrow Sage." I said as I got out of her car and walked in to my house, ready for my parents bullshit. As soon as I even made it through the door, My dad punched me in my face. You know what, I'm tired of this shit! I dropped my book bag  and punched his ass back. "I'm sick of this shit!" I yelled. I grabbed an umbrella (the long cane looking ones) from the corner and waited for him to come at me again. As soon as he did, I hit his ass with the handle of the umbrella. Home fucking run! His mouth started to bleed after the impact. Good, now he see how I felt. 

  Out the corner of my eye, I saw my mom try to tase me, so I kindly stepped to the side and made her dumbass trip and accidentally tase my dad. I took this opportunity to beat my dad's ass some more. I lift his head up and started punching him in his face. Of course he was fighting back but they adrenaline overcame the pain. I kicked my mom's ass in the corner somewhere so she knew to stay out of this. As my dad stood up, I kicked his ass in his stomach, making him double over. I then punched the fuck out of him, knocking his ass out. "I'm so tired of y'all doing this shit. I had enough." I said. I grabbed my book bag and ran upstairs to my room and locking the door. I pulled my phone out and noticed that I had accidentally called Sage during the fight. I looked at the timer and noticed that she was on the phone the whole time I was fighting them.

  I could still hear her calling my name on the phone. "Sage, I'll talk to you tomorrow." I said as I hung up the phone. Now was not the time for me. I moved my dresser to the corner of the door , just in case these bastards try to get me in my sleep. I then walked into my bathroom to examine the damage. "You still look good." I said as I went to shower and then back to bed.  "If this is what it's gonna be everyday, I'm ready" I said as I drifted off to sleep.

 I'm on a roll!   

Alex finally stood up against them!

Things are definitely gonna get heated as the war has just begun!
