David up there.

Alexander's POV

  It's been three days since I moved into Sage's house. Of course I had to tell her parents what my parents were doing to me (even though I really didn't want to). Once they heard everything I had to say, they forbade from ever going back there, even if it was to grab a few things. They actually made their guest room my bedroom and said that I could stay for as long as I like.  As far as my parents, I have a feeling that this is only the beginning and that I may have started a war. "Alex! Alex!" Sage said snapping her fingers, snapping me out of my daydream. I'm noticing that I'm zoning out a lot. "What's up?" I asked her.

  "Are you ok?" she asked me. "Yeah I'm good. Just stuck in my thoughts that's all." I answered. "I know you're still processing things but I just want you to know that I'm here if there's anything you want to talk about." she said. "Thanks Sage. Now go to bed. We have school tomorrow." I said walking out of her room into my own. "You had to remind me!" she yelled as I left. I got comfortable in my bed and just laid there thinking about the past few days. "This is so surreal" I said before falling asleep. 

  Next Day   

  "Let's go! Get up!" Sage said barging in my room. She was two seconds from getting her ass beat. She so lucky I caught myself. "You was about to die." I said before getting up out of the bed and going into the bathroom. "Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Consider this revenge for reminding me that we her school today." she said loud enough for me to hear her in the bathroom. "You are annoying!" I said as I spit my toothpaste out. I walked out the bathroom and looked for something  to wear. "I'm already ahead of you." Sage said with clothes in her hand. She ironed them too, she a real one. "I knew you didn't have anything laid out so I figured why not decide for you and iron it too. If you need me, I'll be downstairs." she said smiling and walking out the room. I quickly got dressed and made my way downstairs as well. 

  I decided to make me a toaster strudel since we still had about 10 minutes before we had to go. "You ready? I about to leave." Sage said walking into the kitchen, where I thought she already was at. "Hold on. My toaster strudel isn't done. Let me get my phone and book bag from upstairs while I wait for that to finish." I said going upstairs and getting my things. When I came back, the toaster had finished and my strudel was evenly done (A/N: Those things are tricky to get done evenly tbh). I put it on a paper towel and walked to the car. "Soooo no breakfast sandwich this morning?" Sage said as she started the car. "Don't play with me. This little thing is not even a snack. It's a teaser. You're getting my sandwich. To think I was gonna easy on your pockets too. Now I want two hash browns in addition to the sandwich." I said finishing my little rant, making her laugh.

 "You lucky I love yo lil ass." she said as she keep her eyes on the road. As we were driving to Dunkin, I could've sworn I saw my parents car drive past us. "Sage." I said trying to remain as calm as possible. "What's up baby boy?" she asked. "I think my parents are following us. We have to make this trip fast and get to school. I do not want us to end up on the news. Two teens killed in a car accident." I said, feeling like the world was caving in. She grabbed my hand and said "Alex breathe. I'm not gonna let anything happen to us. If you feel like that could've been your parents, then I'll make this trip fast and  short. I got you kid". I felt better after she said that and took a deep breath. We took about 15 minutes before we were back on the road again. "Do you see their car" Sage asked as she continued driving towards school. "No but I wouldn't be so quick to say we're safe either." I said.

  "Let they ass try something if they want to. They not that stupid." Sage said as she turned into the school's parking lot. I felt so much safer when we made it. I really feel like I'm being watched especially since I left them. They won't give up until they find me but I have to remain strong and prepare myself for this ling war (I know y'all are probably tired of hearing me say that but I know that day coming. When, that is the question). "Come one baby boy" Sage said grabbing my hand. I honestly don't want any harm coming to her or Aurora, I don't know what I'll do without them. As soon as we walked in, David walked up to me. "Have you given some thought into being my tutor?" he asked. Um fuck no nigga! I had more important matters to handle besides that. I sighed "I'll be your tutor, but the moment I feel like I am wasting my time, I'm out" I said. "Yo, you just saved a nigga. Thanks so much Alex! I'll wait for you after school so we can go to my house and study." he  said walking off. 

  I didn't agree to allat but it looks like I had no choice, he was already gone. "You are too nice sometimes you know that?" Sage said smiling. "Oh shut up" I said as we walked to meet Aurora. "There go my babies! Where have y'all been?" she asked hugging us. "Somebody decided that they wanted to help the less fortunate so that's what took us a little minute." Sage answered laughing. "You are so annoying. What she means is that David asked me to tutor him so I said yeah. Nothing major." I cleared that up. "Oh well that's cool. You are super smart so he knew who to ask." she said taking a bite of her sandwich. "Whatever. Let's get to class already." I said as we started walking to first period.

  End Of The Day  

   The day seemed to have flew by, I could barely remember what happened today. "That test was mad easy. Good thing we studied the night before." Sage said as we walked into the hallway.  "Aye to the Skype study session!" Aurora said as we all laughed. As soon as we walked outside, David tried to get my attention. "I forgot that you said you were tutoring him today. Call me if you want me to come and pick you up." Sage said giving me a hug. "Call me if you want me to beat his ass." Aurora said giving me another hug. "I got this y'all. Go on ahead to work. Let me know if you feel like anyone is following y'all. Better yet, let me know when y'all make it to your destination." I said as we did one last group hug. "We got you kid." Sage said as they walked to their respective cars. I made my way to David and he motioned the way to his car. I instantly got annoyed when I saw who was in the front seat.   

  I guessed he sensed it because he said "Before y'all kill each other, I'm just dropping him off". "Oh." was all I said before hopping in the back. He drove a nice 2012 Nissan Pathfinder, all black too. Dumbass in the passenger seat tried to be smart and recline his seat all the way back. I smacked the shit out of him in the back of his head "Try and be smart if you want to. I won't hesitate to fuck you up in this damn car". "You ain't gonna do shit and if you hit me again, you gonna end up like how you were when we first met." he said back smirking. "Oh. But who got they ass severely handed to them at their best friends party. You lucky he saved yo punk ass too because I definitely owe you." I said cracking my knuckles.  "Yo chill out. I ain't trynna have an accident because I'm stopping y'all from killing each other. Dominic, get out, we're at your crib." David said, low key saving Dominic from this well needed ass whooping. "Ard D I'm out. Fucking pussy." he said dabbing David up and mumbling that last part. "Speak up bitch. I'm not a cat whisperer." I said about to get out. 

  At least I though I was before David locked the door and drove away. "You always saving him. One day you aren't gonna be there and I will stomp a hole in his ass." I said as I sat back. "I just don't want y'all fighting and shit." he said as he continued driving. After about 20 minutes of me just playing a few games on my phone, we pulled up to his house. "You ready to start our tutoring session?" he said as he got out of the car. "Eh, I guess." I said as I grabbed my book bag and got out. This is gonna be a long day.
