Alexander's POV
"Get the fuck off me!" I yelled trying to break free from the person's grip. "Sage call the ambulance for David!" "They are already on their way." she answered me. "Will you let me go already!" I yelled, still struggling. He finally let me go and looked at me. "Who the fuck are you?" I asked still running off the anger from what happened earlier. "Damn I should've known you wouldn't remember me." he said putting me down. I ignored him and ran back over to David "I'm so sorry. Why didn't just let me get hit?" I asked him. He looked at me like I was stupid "What did I tell you last night? Yeah shut up" was all he said, making me low key blush. In about 5 minutes, the ambulance came and loaded him on to the stretcher. "Alex you ride with him. Me and Aurora will meet you there." Sage said. "I'll meet ya'll there too" the random guy said.
I got in the David as we drove to New Haven hospital. I texted Sage this information so she would know where we were. Plus imma need a ride home. "Look at you caring about me and shit." David said. "I always care about my friends. What you mean?" I tilted my head. He shook his head and pulled out his phone. In a few seconds I got a text message from a random number.
Unknown number: Wait until I get out of here, smartass.
I looked up and saw him smirking at me. How he got my number is beyond me. I texted him back.
Me: Error 404 the number you are trying to reach is no longer in service. (Message 504)
He sucked his teeth and put his phone away. Ten minutes later, we were pulling up in the hospital parking lot. They unloaded him and transported him into the emergency room, with me right behind them. "Sir I'm sorry but we can't let past this point." a nurse said stopping me. I sucked my teeth and said OK. There's no use in trying to argue with them, they are only doing their job. Plus that's mad extra anyway. I decided to sit in the waiting room and play some games on my phone while I waited for Sage and Aurora to show up. About a half and hour past before Sage and Aurora both came in. "Any news yet?" Aurora asked me. "Nope nothing yet. Just waiting on them. I noticed that they weren't alone, the guy from earlier came with them as well. "Are you stalking me or something?" I asked him. "No I just-" "Friends of Mr. Holmes?" a doctor asked.
We all ran up to him. "Is he OK?" I asked. "He's fine luckily. The impact wasn't that hard so luckily it's just a strain. Any harder and and he would've need surgery on his back." he said. I breathed a sigh of relief "Thank God. Can we go see him now?" I asked a little too hype for my liking. "Yes you can. He's in room 226. Be careful on the hugs." he said as he walked away. We all got up and walked towards his room. When we got there, he was laying in bed on his phone. "Ahem." I said getting his attention and scaring him at the same time. "Wassup y'all? How long y'all been standing there?" he said. "Eh, about five minutes ago. Glad you're ok." Sage said. "Yea I'm definitely glad you good David. Thank you." Aurora said. Mystery dude didn't say nothing but gave him a handshake. "Could I talk to Alex for a minute y'all?" David said. "Sure. We'll be outside if you need us." Sage said closing the door behind them.
