When me and Michael got on the road, I felt like for the first time in a long time, I was doing something for me. I wasn't appeasing anyone's needs, but mine. We laughed and smiled all night and we drove to Atlanta in a happy bliss. We were a new couple with a new proposal, new pregnancy, and new life. We were leaving everything behind.
When we arrived, the house was already furnished and Michael had taken care of everything. We were happy until Brandon started calling and texting. It broke my heart that he didn't even know I was leaving and I started to regret my decision a little bit. I also had to hide Brandon from Michael. Eventually, though, Brandon stopped calling and consciously I forgot about him.
I thought that by ignoring Brandon, all the past would go away but just because we had left home didn't mean home had left us. One year later after we were married and the baby was nearly four months old, the past resurfaced, but not just in my life.
As a teenager, life was hard with the lost of my whole family, including my bestfriend, but the next chapter in my life was an even bigger challenge. Questions about who I really was would soon surface and I would be faced with mind-blowing decisions... The past is never really gone, or is it ??
Bigger things were coming...
The End
