Two weeks after Tiffany was shot, she still hadn't opened her eyes. I stayed at the hospital with her everyday, but I also kept my ear in the streets. I prayed day and night God would wake my friend up and on the sixteenth day she opened her eyes. She was healing slowly and I knew it hurt her that her mother never once visited the hospital. I told her I was going to end La'Tisha's life and she didn't protest one bit. In fact, when she said La'Tisha's name, it seemed like all love was gone. She told me I needed to get out to handle business and I knew she was right so on the nineteenth day, I left the hospital for a couple hours.

When I got back to the hospital, Tiffany's room was empty and I knew the inevitable had happened before it was told to me. I had a bad feeling that Tiffany was being watched when I left that day. When I asked the doctor what happened, he said someone had injected air into her IV with a needle and I broke down crying before he even said he was sorry for my loss. I had dealt with too many deaths and I was tired of the only reason I attended church being to attend a funeral. I'd lost my mother, father, and best friend to the streets of New Orleans and everyone was about to feel the wrath.

I found a note with Tiffany's belongings that I knew was from La'Tisha just by the handwriting. It read:

"I told you someone would die, you should've listened".

La'Tisha had crossed the line two times too many and she was about to get her issue. I didn't care that she was pregnant because one week later I attended my best friend's funeral and I thought I was ready to die. I was going to do whatever was necessary to find her.

I was ready for whatever. I just hoped with all my being, La'Tisha was ready for my revenge because I was not only going for her, but anyone close to her. She was going to feel my pain.

She was going to feel my revenge...
