I couldn't kill La'Tisha the day I saw her because she was talking to my little brother. I watched as she handed him a note that I knew was for me. I knew I couldn't pull my brother out of school because I was still under age so I made Brandon watch over him and keep him safe. I could not recover from the note; she thought she could just put an end to this was like it was an elementary fight, but I was not for it. What I got out of seeing her was that she wasn't pregnant anymore so I knew she had her baby. It wasn't long before I caught up with her, though, and she wasn't prepared or so I thought..
Me and Brandon were on our way to Manchu's Chicken when I saw her walking out of Cajun's Seafood just down the street. She was on the phone and she wasn't paying attention when we grabbed her and threw her in the back of a 2013 black Altima. Brandon hopped in the back with her and I headed over to the Warehouse. When we got there, I brought her in and tied her to a chair, but for some reason it felt too easy. I grabbed my gun and sat directly in front of her; she didn't look scared the slightest bit. I wanted to take her life right then, but something told me I wasn't making the right decision. I let her family go because they had never seen my face. The only one I didn't let go was her mother; she was my insurance policy.
I kept her alive and I only did because my gut instinct told me not to kill her. Getting La'Tisha had been too easy so I knew that for some reason she wanted to be captured. She didn't resist when we picked her up and she hadn't even began to put up a fight. I didn't even know the girl anymore. What I did do, however, was beat the hell out of her. I beat her for Tiffany. I beat her for my moms. I beat her for my dad. I beat her for my brother. Hell, I beat her for every wrong thing anyone had ever done to me. She never spoke, she just silently cried. I started to wonder what happened to her baby, but I didn't have to wonder to long before Brandon gave me the information I needed.
About one week before Brandon and I captured her, someone had beaten her and she had went into miscarriage. I suddenly understood her sadness and I didn't have the heart to kill her. In fact, I didn't know what to with her and her mother so I kept them in the warehouse, but they were well taken care of. I knew I was doing exactly what Tiffany had done, I was underestimating her, but my heart told me I was doing the right thing.
It was one night filled with lust, passion, and maybe a little love that made me let La'Tisha and her mother go. It was the worst mistake of my life...
