It was the end of camp and I was happy to go home. I sprained my ankle during the middle of the week and hobbling around without crutches was horrible. I would be happy to get home to get some crutches and Monday see the doctor to make sure it was only a sprain nothing more serious.
Monday came and the doctor said it wasn't broke. I'd have to stay off it for the next 3 weeks for it to heal. Having a sprain ankle really made everything more difficult. I hated to have to be on crutches but at least when we were back in classes I'd be off them.
The weeks came and went and soon I was finally off the crutches and back to normal. Classes were back in full swing for the fall semester and I was glad to see Mason again.
We were all back together at our table talking when I hear Alex speak up.
"So does everyone have plans this weekend?" He asks looking around at us. We all shook our heads and tell him that we were free.
"What does everyone think about going to the apple orchard and getting free apples and donuts?"
"Sounds great! What you think Angelica want to go to the orchard." Mason turns giving me a smile knowing I couldn't pass up their amazing donuts.
"Sounds like a good plan to me. What about you and Jenn?" I turn asking Kelly hoping they'd come along to.
"We're in!" They both say grinning.
"Are you going to ask Katelyn?" I turn to Alex giving him a nudge with my elbow.
"Yep, I'm going to ask her after lunch and have a little surprise while we're there" He winked at me. I didn't have to be told I knew what he was planning. I just look up pretending to role my eyes at him.

It was Saturday and we were all at the orchard looking around at the apples and picking some good ones off the tree.
It was a little chilly so after having a bag full we headed inside to get warm and split off meeting each other later when we were ready to leave.
"You want to get some donuts and cider." Mason asks looking at the donuts they had.
"Sure I'll take a pumpkin one." I tell him.
"Coming right up." Mason says with a wink. Once we had our donuts and cider we headed over to Alex who was finishing talking to Katelyn.
They both were smiling like loons when we sat down so I had to ask Katelyn what happened.
"Alex just gave me a beautiful butterfly necklace and a rose." Katelyn said smiling up at him.
"Wow Alex, its beautiful." I tell him looking at the necklace.
Alex grinned. "That's not all I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes."
"Congrats guys!!" I tell them while giving Katelyn a hug.

"So my parents want to meet you properly with your parents as well." Mason looks at me seemingly nervous for our parents to meet each other.
"Mason don't worry it'll be fine. You're mom want to talk about me coming up to visit the family to right?" I say with a smile. I had talked to his mom on the phone a lot and she always would tell me she wanted me to come visit.
"You sure your parents won't mind."
"I'm sure."
"They'll be up here on Saturday. Will your parents be available?"
"They will." I tell Mason with a smile as he goes off to call his parents and tell them the news.
The big day came around for my parents and Mason's to meet each other and we were all sitting in a booth at Steak an' Shake waiting to order while our parents talked.
We finally ordered and ate our food while my dad and Mason's started talking about me coming to visit for Thanksgiving and come back a few weeks before Christmas.
I knew dad would say I could go visit so me and Mason headed over to a claw machine while they still finished up talking everything out.
"So you excited to come visit." Mason asks with a little smile.
"I am but meeting the rest of your family is going to be a little nerve racking.
Mason just laughed. "Well I doubt it'll be as bad as me meeting your family especially since ones a cop."
I laughed that was true. Can't be anything scarier then meeting my sisters husband.
