Author's Note:
This is the chapter where your name will start to be used. You've probably read these books before and know the drill, but if not;
y/n = Your name
y/f/n= Your full name
And if you've already noticed, in this story your friends have been made up, rather than just saying y/f/n (your friend's name)
Please let me know if you're enjoying the book so far by commenting and voting! I could also use some constructive criticism, so please help me fix grammar and bad writing by informing me of them through the comments.
Thanks! Enjoy.

You and Dan walk along the streets together, heading to the nearest Apple Store "So what's your name?" He asks.
"Oh. I'm y/f/n." You smile.
"Pretty name. I'm Dan Howell." He smiles back.
I know. "Oh, cool." Stick to something casual... "How long have you lived in London?"
"Around four years. Before that we lived in Manchester. My roommate and I, that is. How about you?" He looks over at you.
"Only half a year." You sigh "Before that I lived in the USA. Colorado, actually."
"I thought I spotted an accent. I was sure you were a tourist at first. What brought you here?"
"I couldn't find a job in Denver. I have a degree in Journalism, you see, and it's not always easy to find jobs in that department..." You rub your arm.
His eyes shone with pity "I understand... I actually dropped out of college in my second year. I actually still don't really know what I'm going to do with my life."
You are confused. "You don't have a job?"
"No, I do. This is going to sound weird so don't freak out, but I make videos and post them online. Not porn or anything, I just post vlogs on YouTube." He smiles slightly.
"You're a YouTuber? That's awesome! I've actually always wanted to be one..." Don't say too much... "How many subscribers do you have?"
He looks uncomfortable "Um, six million."
"That's incredible!"
"That's nothing compared to Pewdipie or anything, but thank you." He smiles weakly "I'd rather talk about your life. Journalism, huh?"
"I don't write in the newspapers or gossip magazines or anything, just mainly lots of not very popular magazines. At the moment I'm just working as an advertising copywriter, and writing some articles on the side for extra cash." You looked into the distance. Dan is so easy to talk to, but next to nothing like he is in his videos. He seems a lot more introverted and awkward. In a different way. You still find him cute.
"That's... really really awesome." He sounds so genuine that you want to cry "I studied law in college. I don't know why, I never really found it all that interesting. Legally Blonde is an incredibly inaccurate representation." He jokes.
You laugh "I've always found law interesting, but I never considered majoring in it. I mainly just liked the idea of arguing with people for a living."
He burst out laughing, and it took a while for him to recover. You can't help noting how beautiful he is when he laughs "That's honestly probably what I saw in it too."
You smile at him and silence becomes heavy between you for a few minutes. Finally, you say "Yeah, I was feeling really stressed in college too..." You wish you could tell him how much he helped you "If it wasn't for... some really good friends of mine, I doubt I would've made it out of there."
"I'm glad you did. Sometimes I wish I just would've finished it, at least, so that I would have something to fall back on, if YouTube fails." He looks up "There's the Apple Store. What generation of phone did you have?"
"You know, you really don't have to-"
He gives you a playfully stern look.
"Six. Not a plus."
