5: physical exam was a bust

Kai's POV

I sighed, I fell asleep in class and I don't think Kyoya or Tamaki noticed because it was only me and the teacher left. Bummer.

I stood up and walked over to the teacher's desk, stopping once I got there.

"Uh...sorry for falling asleep but I already know this stuff. Did you give out homework?" I asked him, scratching my neck sheepishly. He chuckled and sat up in his spiny chair.

"No, there was no homework. Next time, don't fall asleep though. Lots of guys were commenting. You we're quit cute though." He said casually. No guys, he's not a phedo. He was actually 20 so it wasn't weird and I'm sure he wasn't even flirting. And guys staring? I'll beat their asses if they talked crap about me.

"What kind of comments?" I asked darkly.

"No no, nothing like that. You are just attracti-" he was cut off by another, very familiar, voice.

"This obviously isn't important so I'm taking her out of here. Good day to you." Haruhi said, grabbing my wrist and dragging me away. I waved to Mr. Sato with my other hand as I was being dragged away and he waved back. Haruhi just kept mumbling about too much competition. Whatever that means.

We arrived at the host club doors and haru opened it. "Heyo! Sorry he was late but-" I was pulled all the way into the room and into Tamaki.

"Don't worry! We'll protect you!!! Daddy will protect you!!!" He panicked. I blinked a few times and scratched my cheek in confusion.

"What's....going on...?" I asked, completely lost. I was then pulled into the air by Mori and set next to him.

"We don't want boys looking at you during the exam." Mori said. I slowly looked up at him, eyes wide.

"Did...did you just speak?" I asked. I'm asking a lot of questions today. But that one was worth it, when the hell did he speak in full sentences?!

He nodded at me and I decided to shrug it off. I think he's like Ferb from Phineas and Ferb. One line an episode.

"Tamaki had figured out that if you get more female friends then you wouldn't spend any time here. And you would be even more noticed by the male population than you already are from the increase in popularity. I already figured it out and was going to make sure. He is quit dull if you haven't noticed." Kyoya commented. I laughed at his last sentence and shook my head, wondering how they could ever even be friends.

There was suddenly a huge white board in he room with the twins, Haruhi, and Tamaki next to it or around it. Great, now they got the extremely over protective Haruhi into the mix. Amazing. Oh wait, no, they were all over there now. I guess Mori was right. Meh.

"I don't see why I have to be here. I don't owe debt nor am I a host. Why am I here again?" I asked myself. Tamaki was behind me after I said that and pointed a finger at me.

"Do you really hate the host club that much?!?!" Tamaki asked, or should I say yelled. I think the ladder.

"Hm, don't know you all that much so yeah I guess. Besides Haruhi. But I live next to him so I don't have to be here." I said in reply. Tamaki went to his emo corner while I could just feel the purple lines of the host club behind me. "I'm going to be checked anyway so who really cares?"

"Way to depress us." Hikaru commented. I just shrugged.

"What we should increase first is her motivation to stay with us." Karu pipped in. Don't really see how they could do that.
