What can I say to change your mind?
You know this is wrong,
Your love is blind,
For he has done you the greatest wrong,
It is time, my dear, you were moving on!
You cannot hide from it forever,
New horizons shining bright,
Your ties to him, dear, you must sever,
A difficult task, a strenuous fight.
But know this darling - I am here,
To help and lend a comforting hand,
I'm always a shoulder to cry on dear,
I know it's hard, I understand.
I just hate to see you in this state,
I feel so helpless of what to do,
To help you through this time, I hate
To see you lonely, lost and blue.
So I write to tell you I'm forever here,
You have my support 'til the bitter end,
And that I love you more than words can say,
Your rock, your defender, your 'bestest' friend!
