Chapter 13

"Car crash on the streets Hollywood Blvd and Las Palmas Ave." Our car radio told us.

Luis made a U turn and turned on the lights. We rushed to our destination. Both cars that crashed looked really really really familiar. I quickly got out and went towards the cars. I got my flashlight and see that the red car is empty, I went towards the upside down blue car and someone was there. I called for an ambulance through my walkie and help the person get out. In the process if getting him out I realized it was Yoandri. My heart skipped a thousand beats. "Yoandri wake up!" I check to see if he has a pulse. Nothing. I started to do CPR on him trying to bring him back alive.

"For Yoandri Cabrera." The doctor said. I quickly got up leaving Luis behind.

"He is still in surgery, he lost a lot of blood and we need someone his blood type." The doctor said.

"Can you check if I am his blood type?" I asked him.

"Of course, follow me." He said. I hate getting blood test but this is for him. I already know we have the same blood type. Its a long story.

"You may now see him." The doctor smiled. He then lead me to his room. I know I am not family but they're letting me because I'm a cop. Lol!

Before I open the door I sighed. I walked in and saw him peacefully sleeping. I walled towards him and touched his hand which made him wake up.

"Zandra?"

"Yes Yoandri?" Oh wait. Shit!

"Wait am I in heaven or?"

"No your in hell." I joked. "Nah yoandri your at the hospital."

"Then how come your here? Are you alive?"

"Promise to keep this a secret." I said sticking my pinky out. He nod and wrapped his pinky around mine.

"I'm alive but I have to pretend I'm not. Its for my safety and I'm trying to capture Anna and Zach. Don't tell anyone though. Your the first person I have told and trust."

"I won't Zandra. I have bad news Zandra." He said looking at me straight in the eyes. It looks like he's about to cry. Ugh now I don't want want to know. "I made a mistake of breaking up with Sol. I broke up with her because after your death, things were going down hill. We were contently arguing and yelling. But I still had strong feelings for her. I was in the hospital with her not to long ago today. And-" he then stopped now with tears in his eyes waiting to come out.

"And what?" I asked getting even more worried.

"Joel was there and he confessed that he likes her and Sol does too." He said. "But I don't get it! She said that she liked me too and ugh! I don't know Zandra. I feel like I am just her back up. If no one else is there for her then she calls. I feel like she's just using me." He cried.

I didn't say anything. I knew that Joel liked Sol but I would never think that Sol will like him back. I feel even more heartbroken but I have to remember that I am Dead to them so they do have the right to move on.

"I'm sorry that I had to be the one telling you this." He said a bit more calm.

"No its okay, I mean I rather have you telling me than anyone else." I smiled at him squeezing his hands. "How's Maria and Christopher?"

"Um I honestly don't know. I haven't spoke to any of them since our break up." He shrugged his shoulders. "Come here on my bed." He said spreading his arms out wide.

"Are you sure you just came from-"

"Zandra I insist." He smiled. I sighed but went with him on his bed. When he hugged me I started to cry. Just letting out all the anger and stress out.

"Love you Zandra." Yoandri said kissing my head.

"Love you too." I quitely said still sobbing a bit. I miss this. Whenever I was mad, sad, or both he would always be there for me. We obviously said "love you" in a friend way. I stayed there in his arms and slowly went to sleep.

*Maria's POV*
He's mine he's mine he's mine again! I missed him so much. At the moment we are in Sol's and my apartment. Doing what? Umm good question.

"CHRIS SLOW DOWN YOU'RE GOING TO FAST!"

"BUT FASTER IS BETTER!"

"CHRIS ITS ABOUT TO SPILL!" Then the cake batter flew all over the kitchen. "I told you pendejo." I said slapping the back of his head.

"Oh shut up maria. You have something on your lips." He said before I wiped it off, Christopher kissed me. He slowly pulled back.

"I love your lips. They're so juicy." Chris said.

"I guess. Chris help me clean this mess you made."

"Nah that's the ladies job." He said. All of a sudden I dropped the towel that was in my hands and started hitting the shit out of him making him regret every word he said.

After the mini fight he ended up cleaning the whole place. "See its not only a ladies job to clean the house." I said grabbing is chin and pushing it left to right. He playfully rolled his eyes.

We never ended up making a cake. Instead we bought it and watch horror movies all night. I wasn't scared while watching it and either was Christopher but I sometimes acted that I was scared so I have an excuse for chris to wrap his arms around me. Wink wink.

"Maria I'm tired." He yawned (an: whoa I yawned while writing this its 10:00pm!!)

"Mee too. Carry me to bed." I said raising my arms up while he was stretching.

"No seas floja." Christopher said.

"Fine then." I got up from the couch, grabbed my blanket and started walking to my room. All of a sudden I was in Christopher's arms.

"I was joking my love. Whatever my princess wants that is what my princess gets." He then kissed my cheek and gently put me on my bed. He then joined my and we peacefully went to sleep.

an: sorry of long wait guys!! Remember that I told you that band season has started and I won't be as active? Yes that's why especially this week. Today (1-02-16) I have a performance on a school night and I ain't leaving till midnight 😅, Saturday I have a performance like an hour away and Monday I have another performance in Riverside which is about two to three hours away so I'm going to be leaving during the school day yikes! Please understand that I'm busy and all and I'm trying to update as much as possible.
