Chapter 14

"Maria!" I heard a familiar voice said. I turned around and spotted a figure in front of me.

"Za- Zandra?" I asked squinting my eyes.

"Yea its me." She said giving me a huge hug.

"But I thought-"

"Yea you thought that I was dead but newsflash I'm alive! I need you to do me a huge favor maria." She said seriously.

"What is it?"

"I need you to take care of Joel." She said to me now slowly starting to fade away.

"What do you mean take care of him." I asked.

"Please Maria just please do me this huge favor I'll see you soon." After those words she disappeared.

I later woke up and called Joel. While I called him Christopher woke up.

"Hello?" Joel asked with a sleepy tone.

"Joel are you okay?" I asked immediately.

"Yea of course why wouldn't I be?" He asked confused.

"Um just looking out for my friend you know." I said, "Hey well I got to go take care!" I said then I hung up.

"Is everything okay Maria?" Chris asked.

"Yea I just had a dream and I had to make sure if Joel was okay. Lets Go back to sleep."

*Yoandri's POV*
I woke up by the sound of vomiting. I looked to my right to try to see who it was. Then Zandra came out.

"Zandra are you okay?" I asked. She came out wiping her mouth.

"Ye-" she then ran to the restroom again. I feel like there's something that I don't know about.

"Um want me to call the doctor?" I asked. Either way I am going to call the doctor. I pressed the button that will let me talk to my nurse.

"Can I have someone help my visitor? She's vomiting." I said.

"Of course we'll be right there." She said. I put the thing back and I tried to get up to help Zandra. I pulled out all the cables that in me and slowly walked to Zandra.

"Zandra are you okay?" I asked once again. I grabbed all of her hair so it was out of her way. She nodded once she was done.

Then the nurses came. They took care of her and some helped me back to my bed.

"So you're-"

"Yes Yoandri, I'm pregnant with Joel's baby." She said cutting me off. I can't believe this.

"How?" I asked.

"Well you see when two people loves each-"

"I don't need that talk!" I yelled which made her laugh. I haven't heard her laugh in a long time. I smiled at the sound if that.

"Why are you smiling?" She asked.

"Because I am happy to hear that laugh again." I told her honestly.

"Bella we have to go. Only if you're feeling okay." A guy said.

"Um can I stay here for one more night please?" She asked.

"Sure. Just one more night then. I'll catch you up on the details." He said.

"Thank you Luis." He then closed the door.

"Who is that love?" I asked.

"My coworker. Anyways let's get some rest." She said. She climb on my bed and went to sleep.

*Joel's POV*
I knocked on the door in front of me. I heard footsteps coming closer and closer to the door. In a second I saw her once again after 100 years.

"Joel?" I heard. I bend over and picked her up. Her arms wrapped around my next and held me tight. I cried because I missed her. She will hate me at times but she's the only thing I have close to Zandra.

"Joel are you okay?" I didn't say anything. I walked inside and closed the door.

"I'm sorry." I told her.

"For?" She asked confused as I finally put her down.

"For hurting Zandra in the past. For her death. For everything honestly. She deserved someone way better than me i- ugh." I rested my face on my palms. She sat down next to me and gave me some comfort.

Throughout this time we were catching up with each others life. I really miss her. Later on we went up to Zandra's room to watch a movie. Once we entered I felt like bursting into tears. Don't judge if you lost the love of your life because you were being jerk about the break up, you will also cry.

"Angelina," I said.

"Yes?"

"Are you still upset about, you know."

"I will forever will be Joel. She was my cousin, my best friend, my sister, and my hero. Especially since she died on my birthday makes me more upset. Knowing from now on it'll also be her death anniversary." She sighed. I feel her pain but I have the most guilt.

After a while I had to leave. The boys don't want me to stay here. I closed the gate and walked around the corner and two blocks from their house. I parked kind of far away because I knew I will want some time after being in their for a while.

I got into my car and closed the door. Before I started the engine I felt someone cover my mouth with a cloth. I tried to get myself free but failed. I started to feel light headed and that's when everything blacked out.
