Chapter 47

*Yoandri's POV*
I secretly followed Joel where ever he was going to find Zandra. He started to run and so did I. I accidentally tripped and cut open part of my calf. I groan in pain trying not to make any noise. I took off my jacket and my shirt. I ripped a piece of my black shirt and tied it around the cut. I pulled myself up by grabbing the branch that was right above me. I went to the same direction that Joel was going.

Eventually I caught up to him and I stayed behind some bushes. I saw him going inside and that was my cue to go, but before I could even stand up, there was a cloth covering my mouth which made me dizzy and blackout.

*Luis POV*
"Now Joel I am going to ask you once again, get on that bed or my guards are going to finish you." Ana threatened. Joel just stayed silent and didn't move. "Fine have it your way she said." At this point Joel is hurt really badly, worst than how I found Zandra.

"STOP!"  I said right before they were going to hurt him, which could end up killing him. What I'm about to say to her I will truly regret. "Anna, he is not the one you want to hurt! You love him don't you? If you truly did you wouldn't hurt him to the point of his death. He is not the one you want to hurt. Its Zandra! She's the one who took everything from you. She took away your mom, she took away your happiness, she took away your future with Joel, she took everything. Zandra is the one you want! And you were so stupid for letting her go." I laughed when I said the last sentence. She walk towards me and kneel down so we're about the same height.

"How do you know about my mother?" She asked.

"My dad was the judge when your guys parents were getting divorced, I know that you guys are twins, I know you wanted to stay with your Mom but she only wanted Zandra since you were a danger to her." I said madly. She put her hands on my throat, I was gasping for air while I tried to get her off of me.

"Anna stop!" I heard Joel say. She then let go of me and faced him. "Luis is right, I am not the one who you want to kill, neither Luis, its Zandra. I bet she still somewhere out there all hopeless. You could still get her, and finish her." He said weakly.

"Hm you're right." She then walked out the door. "We'll be right back. Juan you should stay here and make sure they don't leave." Everyone then left except for Juan. After a few minutes that they left. He uncuffed us then carried Joel to the car.

"Juan" is my partner ever since Zandra left. His name is Andrew, he's scary looking which is fantastic so he looks like someone that Anna could rely on. Even though he's scary looking he has a very generous heart. I went to the back of the car with Joel since I was too weak to drive.

"Come on Joel stay with me." I said once we were on our way to the hospital. "You can make it just stay here with me."

"Luis, thank you for saving Zandra. I know my time is up, so I want you to take care of Maggie and Zandra while I'm gone. Please." He said very softly.

"Joel don't talk like that. You're going to see Zandra and your baby girl again." I looked up and saw there were clouds up in the sky. "Look at the clouds. Tell me what you see." He then did want I asked. "Andrew please drive faster."

"I'm trying my best Luis! We're almost there. I already called the hospital to have everything ready."

"So what do you see?" I asked.

"Maggie."

"Maggie? You see a baby?" I said while looking up.

"No, Zandra's mom." He smiled, "I also see my loving Grandpa." He closed his eyes. I quickly checked his pulse and there wasn't any.

"Doing CPR!" I then started giving CPR on him. "Come Joel come back." I said. We then arrived and they took over. I breathed heavily as I rested my back on the seat. I prayed that everything will turn out to be okay with him. 

*Sol's POV* (Before Zandra woke up)

I started on my final essay of the year. I already know what I have in mind to write about. The topic is- "Soledad?" A nurse said walking in the room. I looked up at him. "Joel Pimentel is here, you need to come with me please." I closed my laptop and followed him. As I was walking I started to think that if Joel is here, where the fuck is Yoandri? Before i could even say anything about him we were in an empty room. "I need you to put this over your clothes and this over your hair and take off any jewelry that you have and you could put them in this bag." The nurse smiled. "I'll be back in five minutes" He then left.

Welp, I kind of find that odd. No Sol he's just being friendly, he doesn't like you. I surely do hope not. I did as he asked and now I am just sitting here waiting for him. "Ready?" He asked as he came in. I nodded yes. "You know you could of just went out and tell me that you're done."

"Hm yep, I'll just walk around looking for you, dressed like this, while you're busy saving lives." 

"Eh you got a point." He chuckled. I noticed he is wearing the same thing that he has on.

"I'm sorry Mr. Nurse but where are we going? Are we going to like operate someone?" I joked.

He laughed before he said, "No, we need someone to be with Joel for a little while until his family comes." 

"Oh okay. Hey by any chance do you know if Yoandri Cabrera has like checked in or anything?" I asked him.

"I'm sorry we haven't heard anything about him." Ugh where can he be? He went with Joel, shouldn't they both be here right now?

We entered the room and I immediately burst into tears. He could literally die any second now. I can't even describe how he looks like right now. I covered my mouth and started to cry. He cant leave his career behind, he can't leave because he still need to get married with the love of his life, he cant leave Zandra and Maggie behind. He just can't leave us. The nurse pulled me into a hug as I sobbed onto his shoulder.

"It's okay Soledad. We're doing everything we can to save him. Do you want to go back to Zandra's room right now?" He asked. I pulled away and looked at Joel.

"Just a second." I said, I walked towards Joel and grabbed his hand. "Joel it's me Sol. I just want to let you know that Maggie is okay, she's with Maria and Christopher right now. And that Zandra is safe now, she's here recovering. Now it's your turn to recover just like her. You need to be here with us Joel, with your little baby girl, with Zandra. Please Joel please don't leave us just yet." I said. I let go of his hand and left the room.

*Yoandri's POV*

I woke up in a random place. I quickly got up to my feet and ran towards the door. I tried to break it open. I then looked around the room and looked for a window and luckily there was. I quickly climb out and ran straight hoping I will find a street soon. What the fuck happened? First I was following Joel and I got kidnapped? I realized that I wasn't wearing any underwear under my pants, oh please don't tell me I was raped... I headed to the gas station and called 911 to report my problem. 

After a while they gave me a ride to a nearby hospital. They checked if everything was okay with me, that they haven't poisoned me or anything. "Hey doctor?" I said before he left the room.

"Yes Yoandri?"

"Is Zandra Garcia and Joel Pimentel here? They're one of my closest friends and I want to make sure that they're okay?" 

"Yes they're here. And actually there's a girl named Soledad here that has been asking for you, want me to bring her here?" He asked.

"Yes please Doctor. I've been dying to see her again." I smiled just the thought of her. He smiled then left.
