Chapter 15

I woke up by the sound of my phone ringing. I picked it up after the fifth ring. "Sol you finally picked up. Has Joel arrived there yet?" I heard Richard say in a panic tone. I look to the left of my bed and realized he's not here.

"No. Is everything okay?" I asked in a worried tone.

"Then where is he at? He was supposed to meet us here an hour ago." He said frustrated.

"Maybe he's with Maria?" I said.

"No he isn't I already asked. Where the hell could he possibly be?"

"Um I'll try calling him then." I said I hung up and started calling Joel.

"You have reached to voicemail of-" I called about a hundred times more and Still no answer. I sighed. I decided to call any number on my contacts.

"Hello?" Someone answered.

"Zandra?" I asked. I wasn't expecting an answer.

"SOL! PLEASE HEL-" I heard Joel yell. Then they hung up. I was frozen in my bed. I don't know what to do.

"What do you mean you can't file a missing case? He's been kidnapped! I called and-"

"Come back in 24 hours if he's still missing then we will place a missing file." The officer said. I got up angerly and left. Before I head the door, I bumped into someone.

"Watch it!" I yelled at the person.

"I'm so sorry." She said. I looked up to her and it's Zandra.

"Zandra?" I asked so confused.

"Um no my name is Officer Ramirez . Now excuse me I'm late to my meeting." She said while picking up her papers. And then she left. I just stood there so confused. I swear that person looked a lot like Zandra.

"Officer Ramirez, can you please help me with something?" I said now following her.

"Shouldn't you be at school?" She said.

"How do you know I'm a minor?" I asked. She continued walking with me still following her.

"I talked to your ex boyfriend at the hospital yesterday. After I asked him the questions I needed to ask him, he told me to stay with him to keep him company."

"Yoandri is at the hospital?"

"Yes. Now excuse me I really have to go." she said annoyed I guess. Well that is what it seemed like.

"Joel's in trouble." I said trying to grab her attention. And if its really is Zandra, she will stop and listen. And she did. She stopped walking. She is now facing me getting closer. She's the same height as Zandra. And have the same hair color and body type, except I see her she got a bit fatter not to be rude.

"What do you mean he's in danger?" She asked.

"So you are Zandra? If you weren't her you would of just ignored me."

"Follow me." She said. We are now headed to a different direction of the department. We entered her office. Its so neat and organized. On the wall behind her, its full of pictures. I see one that catches my eye. Its a baby picture. A baby that is still in the stomach.

"You're preg-"

"Yes hello this is Bella Ramirez I am not going to be able to go to the meeting today, I have a person who has more information about the case. Alright see you then." She then hung up. "Okay so you were saying." She sound so professional. Well that not a surprise because Zandra is actually really smart.

"Are you pregnant?" I asked.

"Uh yea I am, so tell me how exactly Joel is in danger?"

I told her the story while she was writing down notes. I had the chance to look at her handwriting. It's exactly like Zandra's handwriting. "Okay thank you very much Sol. Don't worry about Joel. He'll be okay." She smiled. I smiled back lightly. I then left and head back home. I am not going to go to school today.

*Joel's POV*

I couldn't see a thing. I feel my hands tight up around a chair I am assuming. Why am I so calm? I try to find a way to set myself free.

"Oh baby boy go ahead and try to escape, because it will be impossible for you to escape this time." I heard Anna say.

"Anna please let me go. Why are you doing this?" I asked.

"Revenge."

"Revenge for what?"

"Revenge because you prefer me over Zandra." She said loudly.

"But Zandra isn't here anymore, she's dead!"

"Oh honey that's is what you think."

"What do you mean?" I asked so confused. With this thing over my eyes I can't tell if she's lying or not.

"Hm, you know that one chick? What's her name again? Ah yes, Bella. Well I got a little news for you," she then took off the blindfold from my eyes. I am now looking at me life ruiner. "Bella is actually Zandra. I can't believe your that stupid for not noticing." She said as she touched my shoulders. She then turned on the t.v. "Let's see what she's doing now shall we?"

Bella was on the t.v. screen looking at pictures of Zandra and I when we we're younger. The next picture she was looking at is a picture of Zandra's blue themed quinceañera. It was when we were doing our best friend surprise dance. The next picture was when we were slow dancing with her head resting on her shoulder.  She turned the picture that she was holding and was the note I wrote for her. I saw Bella's reaction and she was in tears. Maybe it is Zandra after all.

"Still don't believe me pretty boy?" Asshole, I mean Anna said. I continued looking at the t.v. screen.

I have so much emotion in me. Happiness, anger, confusion, relived, scared, upset and stupidity. I don't know what to believe right now. But as of now, I need to find a way to escape this place now called hell.
