I checked my watch and it was 5 minutes before midnight. I left everything at home, my phone, my wallet, my jewelry other than my watch, my cousin, my fiancé, everything at home. I need to save my baby. The love of my life. The mini me.
"Don't need to put the bag over my head I know where I am heading, I'm going to the white van and take me to some sort of secret building. Typical." I voluntary jumped into the van and they drove away.
Once we arrived I was pushed into a room where it was huge but empty. I crawl to one corner of the room and started to prepare myself to what is to come. I slowly got up and just waited. For what exactly? My baby's kidnapper. I shadow appeared on the floor leading to a black figure at the door.
"Where's my baby. I want her in my arms now!" Was the first thing that came out my mouth.
"She's right here. In my arms. I always wanted a baby girl. But instead I have a baby boy. Oh what a sad life. Anyways I know what it is like to be a mother so I am letting you hold her one last time before I kill you." That voice that belongs to Anna said. I walked towards to her and have Maggie one last time in my arms. "You have 10 minutes."
"Thank you." I said. I know she's my killer, but hey she's letting hold my baby girl one last time. At first I didn't say anything because ... well I honestly couldn't say anything. I rocked her in my arms and hummed "Isn't She Lovely" by Steven wonder. That was the song that Joel sang to me when we were going back home from the beach. I slowly sat down on the floor with Maggie now on my lap.
"Maggie. So I guess this is the last time I'm going to be with you mi amor. I know you're just a few months old and you don't understand what I am saying. But one day you'll understand why I am not there with you. I won't see you on your first Halloween costume, or won't be there for your first Christmas. I won't be there when you take your first steps, or hear you say your first word. I wish you to be a great, independent strong woman like your grandma, who is watching us from heaven right now. People say that I'm strong and fearless but in reality I'm not. I am very weak and so scared what might happened mi amor." She then started to coo and play with my face.
"Maggie, I hope you will take care of your amazing father who I sadly won't get to marry. Make sure he doesn't get into trouble or does stupid stuff. If he does help him or call your Tia Angie to help you. I hope that you will also make good decisions. Do whatever makes you happy. If you want to be a singer, sing. If you want to be a dancer, dance. If you want to work at Taco Bell, work at Taco Bell but work in their business because they get better money." I smiled.
"Times up." Anna said. I stand up so we are now face to face with each other.
"How would I know if Maggie is safe in Joel's arms?" I said still having her in my arms.
"We texted him, tell him to pick up the basket that Maggie will be in. You'll come with us so you know that she's safe." She said.
I sigh before I said my last words to Maggie, "te amo."
"Te amo." I heard her say back. It wasn't clear but she said it.
"Oh my god! She said it did you hear it? Te amo." I repeated.
"Te amo." She the smiled.
"Actually keep her until its time for her to go. Here's her bottle, diapers, clothes and her toys that I bought her." She said handing me the baby bag.
I didn't say anything. I was speechless. I sat back down and continued talking to her.

*Joel's POV*
I woke up around noon noticing that Zandra isn't here. I started to panic. I ran towards the crib where Maggie is usually in. Empty.
I ran towards the restroom and into Angelina's room. "Angelina where's Zandra and Maggie?!" I asked.
"I-I don't know I thought that she was with you this whole time." She said now seeing fear in her eyes. All of a sudden I pulled her into a hug.
"Come on let's go look for them." I kissed her forehead and pulled her out of bed.
"Uh Joel. I think you should put on some clothes first." Angelina said. I looked down and noticed I was only wearing my boxers and socks.
"Right. Give me a second." I head back to Zandra's room and quickly changed. We then head to my car and started driving around town.
While I was driving Angelina and I got hungry. We decided to head into an empty drive through Taco Bell. We order a lot of food because who knows how long we'll be out. In the middle of driving I got a text message. It was an address to somewhere. The message below it said.
"Follow this routine and you'll get your daughter back. Be there at 5pm, or else she'll be gone just like your fiancé."
I saw that it is an hour away. I then looked at the time and it was 4:37pm. I quickly started the car and drive to wherever this is taking me. I hope I get there on time.
an: so this is kind of a short chapter.. I mean its under 1000 words. anyways I STARTED YOUTUBE!!! ME SO HAPPY!!
