Aaron ran out of school. Ran all the back to Shane's. What would everyone think. Now everyone knows. That was his secret no one was supposed to know. How could he stay here now what would his friends, Shane think. They all froze when they heard. Shane didnt even say anything or try to stop him, just stared at him. He would be an outcast now. It was time for him to leave.
He had the money and now al he'd have to do is find a place. Maybe a new job. Most people knew where he worked. He couldn't leave the city though. Maybe his friends would find him but they only would if they really wanted to. So that was okay.
He opened the basment boor and headed down grabing his backpack on the sweater rack he began packing all of his thungs he would teally need. Then he decided he would leave a note so they would know he was fine.
After writting it and laying it on his folded blankets he left on the mattress he had been using as a bed the past few weeks left. No second glances, just left.
He walked to town and found an apartment building. But the rent was to expensive tho so he moved on. Next was Tom Mury's apartments on diamond rode. He walked it. It wasnt quite fancy. A nice sized lobby with twk couches facing eachother and a coffee table in between then. There was a vase with green foam and fake flowers in the middle of the table. Magazines surrounded the vase and an older lady sat reading one.
Aaron walked up to the man at the counter and asked for pricing to stay. It was fair enough with a bed, couch, electricity and a miny kitchen included in monthly payments. so he booked a room and moved in right away. With only his few posesions he carried in his backpack, a blanket and pillow.
After settling his stuff in he sat on the bed and took his phone out of his pocket. He didn't think anyone would go to the police to try and find him. He was 17 the police couldn't pick him up even if they did. So he didn't think it mattered if he had his cell or not.
He thought about texting Shane but then had second thoughts and didn't. He wouldn't have known what to say anyway. He did want to text Tracer though.
He decided too. He figured he most likely wouldnt care to say anything back to him after whay happened.
Hey Tracer. Im sorry for what happened today. I know you already knew about my secret but now everyone knows i. Well that i like you. And i know sorry doesnt do anything to help but i want to apologize. I never meant for any of that to happen. But it did and i cant change it now. Im sorry. If you never talk to me again i would understand i just needed you to know that i was sorry.
"Well that's that." Aaron said to himself feeling sad and alone. "Who knows if he will even read it."
After sitting for a few more minutes Aaron went online and began looking for available jobs near by his new place. There wasnt to much he could put in for but found two that looked promising.
The first was a construction worker. He knew some about that because one of his moms "boyfriends" had been a construction worker and had let Aaron come with him to work for a week. Thought it would be a good way to get higher up in my favorites. Unlucky it didn't work.
The second was woking as a waiter for a big pizza parlor. He had never quite done that but figured he could learn well enough. So he put in an application for both.
Tomorrow when he went into work he would give his boss his two weeks notice and hope by the end of it he would have one or the other of the applicant jobs.
After doing that he went out to buy some food since he had none with him. The grocery store was only 5 minutes down the street from his apartment. He hope he wouldn't run into anyone there he knew. Most of his friends didn't ever go this store. Him and Tracer used to sometimes though this past summer. He figured Tracer wouldn't be there now tho and probably wouldn't go there without a friend anyway.
Once back at his apartment Aaron poped in a microwave pizza then sat at the table and started eating. Afterwards curling up on his bed trying to sleep. But couldn't seem to make his mind stop thinking.
'Tommy is a bitch' he thought. He practically ruined his life in five minutes and just when it was starting to get good. When there was some sort of worth to it. Now it was back to being alone. Against everyone else. He didn't want to be alone anymore. He wanted to be with the people he cared for. The person he loved. He wanted to be with Tracer. And he would be. He had to be, one way or another.
Right then and there he decided no matter what he had to do he was going to be with Tracer. Whether Tracer wanted it or not he would have him.
After that, since he couldn't sleep, he got up and went to his table. He took one of his not book and a pencil from his backpack and started drawing up a plan.
He was up all night planning it. One light on above his head all the while something was starting to snap in his head. Maybe his sanity...slowly breaking as a smile spread while at the thought of being wih his love and he laughed at the thought of it.
