I wake up to the annoyingly loud sound of my alarm clock, signaling I need to get up. I don't press the snooze button, and let it keep ringing so I actually get up. I keep my eyes closed for a minute until I start getting a headache and sit up. Grabbing my phone, I enter my pass code in and turn off the alarm. A small yawn escapes as I drop my phone onto the bed to stretch. I sit at the edge of the bed, not wanting to move even though, I need to get ready for work soon. Walking to the bathroom, I strip out of my clothes and take a quick shower.

Stepping out of the shower, I wrap a towel around my body and run another one through my hair. I dry off a little bit before changing into my work clothes. I keep my hair out of my face, applying a small amount of makeup. Since I don't have a lot of makeup and I'm not feeling to... lucky today, I don't bother caking my face. I might get fired from this job too, who knows? I use my cheap 'Elf' eyeliner to draw a thin wing, apply a little bit of mascara and use some concealer I got at a drug store to cover the bags under my eyes. I stare at my reflection until I convince myself I look presentable. I have 15 minutes until I have to head out, so I sit on my old, creaky couch and watch the discovery channel.

Four minutes into learning how monkeys mate, my phone goes off. I hear it blaring that same old, default ringtone from my room. Not wanting to move, I let it keep ringing. A minute goes by and it starts going off again. With a loud groan, I get up and quickly walk to my room.  I hesitate before answering the phone.

"What the hell do you want?" I ask her.

"Look, I'm sorry about what I said today. I didn't mean anything by it ." Alexis admits.

"What you said today was kind of bitchy and shows how self-centered you are Alexis. What you said hurt. You basically said that I'm not good enough for Kellin to talk to me."

"Well what you said wasn't very nice either." She states.

"What I said was true and you needed to hear it." I snap. "I have to go. Don't bother calling my phone again."

I quickly end the call, taking a deep breath. I just lost one of my best friends. Walking out of my small room, I shut the TV off and leave my apartment.

I pull into the parking lot a few minutes before my shift starts. Tucking my phone in the pocket of my apron, I walk through the doors of Red Robin.

It's 11:27 at night and I'm just dragging my ass through my apartment door. My feet are hurting and I have a major headache. It feels like my brain is pounding against my skull. Tossing my apron onto the counter, I rub my temples as I search the fridge for something to eat. I make some Ramen, so I have something to eat before go to bed. When the microwaves 'Beeps' a few times, I quickly mix the packet in with the noodles. When I'm done, I clean the bowl by hand and put it back with the bowls. I head to bed, changing out of my work clothes and try to get rid of the headache by sleeping.

I wake up to the sound of a door slamming down the hall. A pair of stomping footsteps passes my door at a quick pace. Today, I don't have class. I set it to where I don't have any classes Friday. Letting my eyes shut, I drift off to sleep again.

I manage to get 2 more hours of sleep. I lay in bed for another 10 minutes, thinking. Reaching for my phone under my pillow, I shoot Kellin a text.

Me: Tutoring today?

I could really use the extra money. Tomorrow I'm going to the store and I still need to pay rent. I get out of bed, heading to the bathroom. Water rushes out of the faucet, filling the tub. I turn the knob, stopping the water a few inches before it overflows. Twisting my hair into a bun, I quickly take my clothes off and set my phone on the toilet seat. Stepping into the tub, I turn the water off and sit. I lean my head against the wall and shut my eyes as I let my body soak.
