Kellins POV

Shit. Shit. Shit. What the actual hell is Alexis doing here? The worst part is Katherine saw another girl here, obviously knowing my reputation.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I snap. I can tell that she wasn't expecting me to raise my voice, but at this moment, I don't care. Something was happening between Katherine and me, and now that might be ruined.

"I just came to see you." She runs her hand down my chest, and I take a step back. "What the hell was Katherine doing here?"

"That is none of your business, Alexis. This is done. We are not doing this anymore." I state in a low voice, holding the side of the door. She needs to leave. I've not responded to her texts for the past few days, and now she randomly showed up at my apartment door. She should've taken the hint.

"Baby, you don't mean that." She steps closer, gnawing on her lip. She slowly trails her fingers down my chest, and it takes everything in me to not shove her away. "You know we always have fun."

"Get the hell out of here, Alexis. Now." I grab her arm and push her away. I am so pissed right now. I hope Katherine didn't think anything of it. Alexis frowns and puffs her lips out into a pout. "We. Are. Done." I enunciate my words so she'll get the point. She shoots me a dirty look before stomping down the hallway. I lock the door after running my fingers through my hair. Pulling out my phone, I scroll through my contacts and call the front desk.

"Hello. This is Daniel-" I cut him off before he could finish talking.

"Daniel. Have you seen a female in a long, tan jacket leaving the building?" I ask, leaning against the door. I press my finger against the corner of my eyes while waiting for a response.

"Oh, Mr. Sill. No, I have-" He stops talking, and silence replaces his voice. "Actually, yes. She just stormed out."

I sigh, "Okay. Make sure she is not allowed up anymore." I hear clicking on the other side of the phone.

"What is her name?" He asks once he stops typing on the computer.

"Alexis Gibbons." I need to make sure she won't come back.

"Okay, Mr. Sill. I have her name and description written down." He states. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Thank you, Daniel." I hang up. Where does Katherine work? Should I text her? For all I know, this Alexis incident might not have fazed her. She might not be bothered; I'll just leave it and see how she is when she gets home.

This isn't even about the stupid bet. That night when we kissed, I felt something I've never felt with any other girl. I hate it, and I keep trying to deny the fact that I might like Katherine, but now I don't think I'll be able to deny it anymore. I wouldn't have acted that way with Alexis if I didn't care for Katherine. About a month ago, if I wasn't living with anyone I may have feelings for and someone showed up dressed like Alexis, I would've pulled her into the house and led her to my room. Now for a specific reason, I'm worried that Katherine will see me differently. My best bet is to wait for Katherine to come home so I can explain it.

I turn on the tv and try busying myself, but my mind can't stop reeling back to the way Katherine acted. Eventually, my mind gets away from the events that happened earlier, and I'm able to focus on other things.

Time passes without a text or call. I don't know why, but I thought she would at least send me a text. It's a few more hours before the deadbolt to the front door clicks. Katherine walks through the front door and doesn't bother looking at me as she walks straight to her room. A minute later, she is standing at the fridge. I take a deep breath and set my elbows on the marble counter, watching her hair sway across her back.
